Doesn’t work, holding it right next to a book.
I bought this to be able to read a small-print book while on the treadmill. However, when it is placed right next to the book, it doesn’t magnify the print at all.

Not happy with the item but will not return. It is such a hassle to return when you are very limited on driving.

it distorts the page and written word. You cannot just lay it down, but have to try to move it without losing your place. I would certainly return it, but which to buy?
