Cut well
I'm machining some 6" diameter 4000 series chrome moly steel disks and these cut very nicely, good value.

Lathe carbide turning tools
These tools work well on a small lathe such as a South Bend 9 inch lathe. However, the selection of inserts available for the tools is quite limited. The carbide inserts work well when working with materials that are harder than mild steel. It is a trade off of using fixed shaped inserts versus using HSS ground tool bits. Still, for light machine work these tool holders and inserts are fine. Recommended.

Great value boring bars
These are nice little boring bars for the price. They are decently rigid for what I'm doing. I just cut some 1045 steel with them and they work great! I definitely recomend these for the hobby machinist on a budget.

Excellent bit set.
Great bit set, only drawback is the bit does sit perfectly straight in the lathe, so you cannot get the cut that is needed.

No Carbide Under Cutter Support
Love these cutter holders however, when you break a cutter - and you will - the break damages the tool holder under the cutter. After breaking the first cutter it became all but impossible to keep a cutter from breaking.

Works great for the money
I received the cutters, used one today to cut steel and it surprised me for a Chinese cutter, it did a very good job.
