I installed a large garage/warehouse-type light in my unfinished basement, but had no real option to plug it in unless I ran a very long extension cord. So I ordered these plugs that fit into a light bulb socket. This allowed me to use the much shorter cord that came with the installed light.Great Option if you need a plug in where a light bulb would normally go.

This product is a simple way to use that garage light socket for a wired shop light with 3 prongs. Why it's not readily available in local stores i have no clue but it's well worth the price.
