Approachable Way to Demystify Elixir
I've been interested in solving programming concurrency problems for a long time and discovered Elixir like may Ruby devs back in the day as something that was both familiar and foreign. While I personally gravitated to Golang, Elixir was always an interesting tool in the toolbox.Fortunately, Elixir in Action came to be and it helped with the learning journey when I started out. This third edition is a worthy update and (re)reading it was a great refresher into how this language works and how to apply its concepts to common problems.Don't be put off by a seemingly common example trope "The To Do List". The example program is easy to understand and used effectively across many chapters to build on the Elixir concepts being taught. I found Chapter 7 and 8 particularly interesting (building a concurrent system, then going further with fault tolerance).Even if you are just curious about Elixir, and learn best through reading, check this one out.

Best Book on Elixir
This was the best book on Elixir even in the previous edition when it was outdated.Contrary to other books, it's not just a re-hashing of the Elixir docs but actually shows what makes Elixir (and OTP) unique and useful.I love Elixir, it feels to me like programming from the future.

If you only read one Elixir book, this is it.
An excellent overview of Elixir's features. It's not aimed at people learning how to code for the first time, but if you already know how to code, this one book will get you ready to build your first thing in Elixir.
