Grand kids love this

This was a purchase to gift to a cousin after buying it for my boys we decided they needed a copy as well!

I purchased this book as a gift for my 6 month old nephew. The book arrived as described and in perfect, functional condition. I checked each button to make sure they pressed easily and played as they should. The volume is reasonable, not too loud that it would disturb a baby but definitely loud enough to be heard by anyone in the room. This book is purely for entertainment value of course, as the varying sounds emitted by the different animals isn't exactly intended to educate the reader. The construction of the book is simple coated cardboard so there is not much variance in textures for the reader to receive much sensory stimulation, however, my nephew is fascinated with each page and grabs at the book with each page turned and giggles, eyes wide with interest, as each sound is played.I give this product 5 stars for its quality in construction and functionality (I cannot vouch for the longevity of the battery as it is still working as it should at this time) as well as the overall satisfaction of the intended recipient. If my nephew is happy, then this book is a success as far as I am concerned!I would recommend this item for small children as it is amusing and funny, yet tasteful (as much as flatulence can be).

Arrived on time in perfect shape and working for my daughter's 7th birthday. There's nothing more to say than kids find farts hilarious and it was a big hit at her party. Kids laughing hysterically is just really therapeutic. The bonus is that it drives my wife nuts, my daughter knows it, and keeps pushing her buttons (get it? ha ha). My wife announced that they would not be bringing "that book" with them when they go to visit her parents in a couple of weeks. So, I bought another fart book in this series to slip into my daughter's luggage.

My 4-year-old son really enjoys this book! While there is too much text on each page for his liking, I read a part of it each time and then let him press the accompanying button. He laughs and laughs! I did expect the book to have more facts about the animals than it does, but it really is a funny book.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew's first Christmas. He was just a few months old at the time, and is now going on five years old. He and his baby sister LOVE this book! After five years at the hands of small children, this book is definitely showing wear - a couple of the buttons stick or only work some of the time, the pages are peeling in places, the sounds are certainly not as robust and crisp as they used to be. New batteries may fix that problem (as far as I know, they've never changed the batteries), but it's held up very well! And really, after five years of being manhandled by sticky children, no book is going to look spectacular. My sister has purchased a couple of the other books like this because of how much her kids liked this one.
