These are my new favorite hooks! I would recommend these over the brand S.B. hooks that are this price for a single hook! Case is cute and holds everything and more! Scissors and stitch counters are junk. Measuring tape smells weird but is accurate. Smell dissipated fairly quickly and I didn't notice it on anything else. Needs are all very nice blunt tip. Stitch counters are always great to have on hand and seem to be well made. I like the ring thread cutter. Works well on all but super bulky yarns/cording. The zipper head on the pouch is tiny so I did add a zipper pull for easier use. Fantastic for anyone looking for a larger handle without breaking the bank.

I had recently started crocheting again, and was not happy with the crochet hooks that were available in my local stores. I really wanted something with a bigger handle, which made it easier to hold. This crochet kit was just what the doctor ordered. It has comfortable crochet hooks, multiple assorted crochet needles for finish work. It also came with some stitch markers, measuring tape, small snips, row counter, and some kind of cutting device. That I’m not sure how to use yet. 😳 I would recommend this crochet kit for anyone who wants to have everything you need to finish a crochet project.

I'm currently working on my first hexagon cardigan and wanted a broader hook range and good case to store them in. This was an amazing find! The hooks are of good quality, the stitch markers are average, the scissors... Wouldn't cut yarn, but thats okay because the cutting ring they included works great! The case is adorable, also of good quality, and can hold quite a lot of hooks. I'll actually be keeping all of my hooks and needles (yarn and sewing) in it! Also, the teal is right up my alley. Amazing gift for a beginner or anyone looking to acquire more crochet supplies.

The large silicone handles on these crochet hooks is a lot more comfortable than ones on the thin traditional hooks. The extras in this set (like needles –with their own nice container– for tucking the ends back into a piece when finishing it) make this a great starter set or good addition for someone looking to use thick yarn for crocheting. The hooks and needles both accommodate about as beefy a yarn as one can find. Anything much larger would be rope.

Great product for a great price. The hooks are fantastic! The variety of sizes is amazing and the hooks themselves are long. The handles are comfortable to hold. The yarn cutter doesn't work perfectly, the blades don't cut through bulkier yarn, but other than that I LOVE this set. Very pleased with my order.

I think this is a good beginner set. I did have to have a replacement sent to me because the first one had almost half of the hooks damaged and unusable. The metal around the hook was rough and caught on the yarn. The second one they sent me was great. All the hooks were in good shape and everything was as advertised. It was very easy to contact support to get a new set sent my way. I appreciate that about Amazon so much! That definitely took this review from a 1 star to a 4 star.I love these starter kits that have everything you need. It’s an added bonus when they are affordable as well.I’ve used these hooks quite aggressively everyday since I received them. It’s been 6 months and my most used hook is starting to rust from the grips and slid out. That honestly isn’t a big deal to me since I can just slide the hook back in and continue on.Every hook is clearly labeled with the size and color.The scissors worked well for maybe a week then went too dull to cut anything.I like the pouch they come with so I can keep my hooks and supplies together.The needles are great. I love the variety of sizes so you can find one that works for every fiber and project type.Over all, if you are a beginner or a here and there hobby crocheter, this is a great purchase.If you are an avid crocheter, then you may want to spend the extra buck to get hooks that will last year and years.The first set I got must’ve been a dud, but at least Amazon was there to make it right and I was able to enjoy these hooks

I wanted a set of crochet hooks that varied in size for my different yarn types. I was pleased to see it also has a cutter, some position pins, several needles and a tape measure and a pouch to store it all when not in use. This past weekend I started crocheting various octopus to gift and I needed different hook sizes. So this set came in so handy bc it also had needles and position pins for my project. It is important to use the position pins for counting. The pouch is sturdy and holds everything perfectly. I love that the needles has a separate tube for storage. The rubber grip handle is easy to hold and it doesn't slip. The needles have a big hole and all the yarn chunky , acrylic etc I have work fine with them.

I love the way these hooks feel. They are very comfortable to hold. They are sturdy and I love the variety of sizes. I'm not sure what some of the other things are for, but I do use the darning needles and stitch markers. The rest I didn't really need but for the price, I figured might as well get the whole set. I can donate what I don't use.
