You pay a premium to buy a Dyson product but they don't ever have filters or replacement parts in stock. I just looked at the Dyson product page that supports my vacuum (Dyson V15 Detect Absolute) and 14 out of 23 replacement parts are out of stock. The filters haven't been in stock for the last couple years; I signed up to be notified over a year ago if they ever come back in but there have been no updates. Thus this filter is amazing, fits perfectly and does the job. Don't bother waiting for the original Dyson filters to come back in stock.

These work fine in my Dyson v12. I was unsure because of the color - my original was purple.

This product is mismatched from Dyson coloring. The dyson blue filter is EU standard for hepa labeling. The standard purple dyson filter is this US standard 0.3 microns. So this is the same standard Dyson purple filter but in the blue color. Just heads up if you’re specifically looking for the blue for the EU standard hepa (slightly more stringent).That said I used it and it seems to fit and work just like the standard purple. It’s a nice cost effective backup or if you prefer the blue for aesthetics.

These worked very well for my vacuum. They have been very durable and very easy to install. The suction for the filter is exactly like the factory filter that came with my vacuum..
