Q: I've just purchased this but find taking a 7" single off the mat very difficult. Any tips on removing these or is the mat specifically for 12" vinyl?

I have to confess that I haven't had too much difficulty myself. However, I don't play 7" singles that regularly. I think inevitably it will be more tricky with a rigid mat than with a softer felt type mat. So that might be a better bet if you play a lot of 7" vinyl.

As long as you want them to. It's not felt so shouldn't wear out

Q: Can i place a standard felt slip mat on top of this? Or is it best using it as it is and put the record on top.??

Q: Is it suitable for audio technica lp 120 x usb ?

I use it on my 120 X usb, I noticed a sharper sound in all ranges compared to rubber or felt mats which seem to soften or deaden the output. It’s connected to a technics SA-DX950 set to stereo if that helps!!!
