Thing works great, highly recommend
The media could not be loaded. Works great! Installed in my govee humidifier in my grow tent- I was having to refill it every day or two and I’m going to gone for a few days so here we are! Now it will be one less thing to worry about day to day which will be nice :)The washer it comes with does a fine job at keeping the seal water tight I thought I would need to glue it or something but nope.

Quick way to auto-fill an outdoor fountain using drip sprinkler lines
Overall, this is a really great auto-fill float kit that I used to fill the outdoor fountain when the sprinkler system runs, but it does have one caveat to be aware of when installing it.An issue I have been having with my smaller outdoor fountain is that it runs out of water every 3 days or so, and usually at times when I am not around to hear the pump struggling as it sucks in air. Behind my fountain, I have drip irrigation line, but instead of running an extra water emitter into the fountain sump and hoping it dispenses enough water to keep the fountain filled, I wanted to add a float valve like I have on my larger in ground fountain. Since drip irrigation also uses 1/4in lines, I was able to connect this float directly to the irrigation line so that when the sprinkler system comes on, the fountain will quickly refill to the set level, and then shut off as to not overflow and flood that flowerbed. Since drip irrigation systems usually have pressure regulators as well, the drip irrigation system was already set up to deliver the correct pressure to the float valve without needing any additional regulators. If water pressure is otherwise too high, these type of valves can keep leaking water. Overall, using this valve tapped into outdoor irrigation lines seems like a really convenient way to add auto-fill to outdoor water features. However, there is one small issue to note for when choosing how to install the valve. The valve works/mounts opposite to how most conventional float valves function. Most valves have the float arm/pivot that shuts off the water protrude from under the valve body, allowing the max water level to be set well below the valve body itself, and usually they shut off when the float comes up in-line with the float body. The float arm/pivot on this valve instead comes out the top of the valve when installed correctly, instead of the bottom of the valve body as might be expected from other valves on the market. In the factory shipped configuration, the angle of the float body is set so it looks like a more conventional valve, but if you install it with the float/pivot sitting below the body of the valve, the water wont flow as that position, when the reservoir is empty, is the "Off" position of the valve. The valve needs to be installed with the float pivot arm coming out of the top of the body, and then you can adjust the pivot point so the float body bends downwards. It is a little hard to explain without a diagram, but if you look at my attached picture, it should make it somewhat more clear. I did end up installing the valve the wrong way around, but rotating the body 180 degrees and re-adjusting the float position fixed this isssue. This is not a manufacturing issue, but instead it just seems to be a quark from the design being made to fit into very small spaces and hopefully this review will help others who might otherwise install the valve upside down.
