Easy assembly, cat took to it right away with help from the included catnip. The flat surface has the right texture for comfort during naps and the vertical surface is great for scratching, she no longer uses the furnature.

Both of my cats love this scratcher! There are several ways you can set it on the floor. Because one of my cats often likes to stretch when she scratches, I have it set in the "L" position. Much to my dismay this same cat likes to use one of my chairs with a similar tight but slightly rough fabric. When I bought the first scratcher, she immediately stopped scratching the chair and only used the scratcher! I bought the first one in November 2023, and it lasted a year. When they decimated it in the "L" position, I turned it over to a bridge position and it lasted several more months. About a month ago my cat went back to scratching the chair. Since the scratcher was pretty much decimated on both sides, I bought a new one. As soon as I set it up, she stopped scratching the chair and again only uses the scratcher. I love this product!!! The frame is solid, well-built and easy to assemble. The corrugated boards are thick and tight which is why it lasted so long. The only downside is that the corrugated boards cannot be purchased separately. The frame is so sturdy and well-built, it could last for years if just the boards could be replaced.

Our cat uses this scratching post all of the time and our furniture appreciates it. It was easy to put together and position on the wall. The only drawback is that I don't see a way to order replacement cardboard pieces. That isn't a big deal, except for the plastic fasteners the rest is compostable or recyclable and I would just order a replacement.

I think my cat enjoys sitting on this more than actually using it as a scratcher. Though I have seen her use it on a rare occasion. Giving it 4 stores, while easy to assemble, some of the bolts have already cracked out of place. Still usable and not sure what happened but I've only had it for a few months. Comes with catnip which is nice.

My 3 cats love this. It lasted the better part of a year, with shredded cardboard to sweep up, of course. It has definitely saved my couch. It comes with all the tools needed. The plastic screws might benefit from a bit of glue during assembly.

Good instructions. Pieces all fit perfectly. Should last a long time. Cats really love this. They use it all day long.

It was great while it lasted, our cat loved it. Giving it three stars because the construction is pretty cheap and thus it fell apart after a couple of months. Not super stable because the screws that go in are plastic and short so after a while they just strip the holes through which they are screwed in and the whole thing will just collapse. It’s fine for a bit! And cheap enough that maybe you think it’s worth it. But don’t expect it to be hanging around for more than probably 4-6 months at the high end of things

excellent scratcher! my cat prefers scratching while standing on his two hind legs, and most scratches on the market are meant to be placed on the floor horizontally, so this vertical scratcher is the only thing he uses, besides my furniture and curtains :Dstickers that help hold the scratcher in place are not the best, but overall this is a worthy and useful purchase.
