I started to plan to use this camera as a document scanner due to my office space. A scanner usually takes up space, and this USB document camera is pretty small and can be stored in the drawer in my office. It worked as it was planned. It scanned all my meeting handwriting and lecture notes as needed. By chance, I found this camera can also be used as a video research logger when the camera is facing me. It recorded my voice and my face and my document in accompaniment. I use a MacBook and QuickTime Player. Now I use it to log my work log daily and my work notes and related papers. It pretty much keeps track of what I do in daily work. I kept one day's work organized in a daily folder and stored it in the folder. Good finding and make my work well organized.

Excellent Camera and easy to use. Definitely would recommend this camera to anyone that would need it for school purposes.

Camera quality is excellent. I'm a student and use it for my proctored exams. Never have any issues with it! The flexible neck makes it very easy to position the camera where I need it. Cheaper than the official one from the university store.

It’s super easy to connect to computer but I miss the functionality of zooming and freezing the document for my class

I have this plugged right into my promethium board in my classroom. We use it daily. Right now we are watching a cup of caterpillars. We also use it to demonstrate directions to work and projects. Super easy to use.

Junk, do not buy!

Trying to reach customer service as the instructions say to do when there is a problem, but an email or phone number or link to them is no where to be found. When I plug this in, nothing happens no matter which way I plug it in.

I got this for a college that does online proctored exams. It met the requirements and it works perfectly. The base is well weighted so you can bend the gooseneck way back and it remains stable so you can provide proctors with the ridiculous angles they need.Which brings me to the 2 things I don’t like. First, it’s ungainly to pack around. Even when you fold it up it’s pretty large & heavy, so I don’t keep it with me all the time.The other challenge is that I cannot get a clear picture of my ID with it. So I end up taking a picture of the ID with my phone.I think both of those problems are directly related to the fact that it provides a clear and comprehensive view of me and my environment while I test.Set up was quick & easy, you just plug it in & select it. There are buttons on the base for flipping the image which is much quicker than going into settings.I grudgingly give it 5 stars because it works perfectly. I wish it were smaller / less cumbersome, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t work nearly as well if it were.
