Tyre changer
Out of the box it's usable but a few simple mods makes it a lot better. Strengthening the bead breaker part is the main one. Bolting it down is a must although some get by bolting it to a heavy wooden pallet. All the mods are on YouTube but most of it requires the ability to weld

It works. Not like a commercial job but changing trailer tyres it is ideal
Not as quick and efficient than an all singing and all dancing job but it changed four tyres on day of arrival thus paid for itself on that day. Not the fastest but it is a hobby job. Breaking the beads biggest plus. Note, I have 19 stone to put behind it. Should have bought one years ago.

Bolt it down to floor
This works well you will need another tyre leaver .You do need brute force .But stood up to me so very good not sur how you used the end for butting tyres on .5*

Excellent value for money.
Great product for the money. I bolted it to a 4ft square sheet of ply wood so it could be unbolted for storage. The tyre lever that comes with it is ok for steel wheels but will destroy your alloys. I purchased a couple of 24inch tyre levers and some plastic covers cor them so I could work on Alloys without damage. It was surprisingly easy to get the tyres off and on again.

Terrible product, terrible customer service
Because I required this for a current project I paid a bit more for this compared to other sellers because the advertised delivery time was quicker. That turned out to be false. It was delivered late.On arrival the packaging was pretty much shredded and the hardware packaging was sliced open with a knife and half of the hardware was missing. Oypla customer services simply told me it was the shipping companies fault. It obviously wasn't.The item was clearly a used item. In some areas where the paint had been damaged it was showing signs of surface rust. The wheel support post showing signs it had clearly been used.As I needed to use it I took images of the packaging and defects and just repaired it. Bought new nuts and bolts and messaged Oypla in hope they would be kind enough to help me out, at least refund me the cost of the repairs. Sadly I was peppered with automated responses and could get no sense from them at all.If I can find a reason to give even 1 star it would be that the item kind of works. At least I was able to remove the tyre and Oypla did communicate with me and offer a return, however the fact was that I'd had to build it for use and re-packing the item for return was pointless.So... for this NEW item that has a 2 day delivery time advertised (maybe out of Oypla control) and that you can buy elsewhere for significantly less money, I received an incomplete used item delivered in 5 days and faced with a customer service that was pathetic. In fact they accused me of blackmail when I suggested they make a refund on the item. From my experience I would suggest you use other companies to purchase from.

Remember to buy good tyre soap
Ordered this tyre changer and some bead clamps which proved to be essential on some of the alloys i have changed.I found the bead breaker a bit monotonous to use but it’s quite effective really, you just have to keep rotating the wheel bit by bit on stubborn beadsThere’s no protection provided for alloys so I throw down a mat for breaking the bead and a cloth under the centre clamp. If you also turn the wheel so it’s locked up against the anti rotation peg and use you tyre bars in this same direction only then damaging the wheel has not been a issue for me.The tyre bar that came with it is fine for bread breaking and tightening the clamp but I’ll only use my tyre bar (similar to sealey tc963) as it’s not good for rims you care about. It needs bolting down so not that mobile. For the money I have no complaints. It’s already saved me at least it’s value

Not easiest to use but worth having for steel rims
This tyre changer isn’t for everyone. It doesn’t work very well on low profile or small tyres. It also takes considerable effort to operate and would easily ruin alloy wheels unless extreme care was taken.I reversed the removal blade on mine and made a much longer (2.4m) handle from a piece of CLS timber which made it much easier to operate on the 13” steel rims I first tried it on. It’s become apparent through use that the type of rim and tyre has a big effect on how difficult they are to remove depending how tightly the bead grips the rim.For me it’s been a useful tool that has already paid for itself but probably not suitable for everyone
