Q: Can you stick these over spot lights ?

Yes you can so long as they are not touching the bulb, as that could melt them

Q: Can they be used on a 50w led flood light without melting ?

I use them for same reason, as long as they do not touch the bulb, mine have been fine. as you will know LED bulbs do not give out as much heat as Halogen. Would not use with Halogen.

Q: I want to convert a daylight led in the living room to warm white will this be okay?

Depends on how you plan on attaching it? These are 30cm squares. Yes, you can cut them down to size, but they're definitely not not the temperature-rated gels you'd attach to a studio light. They'll bend okay, but you'll not be able to wrap it around anything. They absorb a fair amount of light, too, due to their thickness. So, if you've got an ice-white LED, expect to lose some brightness.
