Easy install on 2005 Toyota Corolla
I wanted a simple tow hitch for my beater Corolla so I can easily transport my ZOOZ e-bike with this car.The install was easy due to the hitch matching up exactly and the bolts were the correct thread size.100% recommend for others to purchase!

Fits and Easy to Install
This fit on my car (2014 Toyota Corolla) and my husband says it was the easiest tow hitch he has ever installed.

Whole different story in the rust belt
Fits great. Nuts are already in place. I have a 2009 corolla S. Supposed to be a 10 minute job outside the rust belt but I was prepared. But I wasn't. I had to beat the one frame rail side flat and descale it as best I could and descale the other side and drowned everything in fluid film. The nuts welded in the frame were so bad, I couldn't tap them even with an impact. They are 12 X 1.25 so I tapped them with the impact with 11 x 1.25 then went back and used 12 x 1.25 with lots of tap magic. That worked and I used fluid film on top of the hitch too where it bolts to the frame and locktite on the bolts. Wow, that's just crazy another couple years and I don't know if those nuts welded into the frame could have been saved at all.

better than I expected
Going into this purchase, I was unaware that anyone made a trailer hitch for this vehicle. For the cost and the relative ease of the install, I think most everyone should take a moment right after buying any new vehicle to get one of these installed. It improves the cargo carrying ability of the vehicle, gives you the option to tow a small trailer and possibly other things, and it improves the rigidity of the frame near the rear bumper. The only issue I encountered was having to tap the pre-installed weld nuts on the car due to 5+ years of exposure to salt and ice. Even so, I had no trouble torquing the bolts to the required 86 ft lbs. Installing this on a new vehicle would avoid that issue. Be aware though, there are some pieces you don't get with this product - I had to get the cross pin and ball receiver separately.Another reviewer said the frame of the vehicle was made out of aluminum, but I doubt that is the case. It would be very difficult to attach a steel weldnut to an aluminum frame (assuming they really are welded) and I doubt that the threads would have rusted if they were made out of aluminum as well.

Great hitch for 2013 Toyota Corolla S
Great class I hitch for attaching a bike rack. The pre-drilled holes and size/shape of hitch fit perfectly on a '13 Toyota Corolla S without needing to make any modifications. Used blue loctite on the bolts to keep them in place. My local car repair shop mounted it on the vehicle for me, and it was so easy, they charged me very little to bolt it on while they were doing some other work. This hitch comes with a bolt and pin to put through the hitch and whatever you have inserted into the hitch, but it does not lock, it is just a pin. I instead use the Stowaway hitch tightener as a deterrent to stealing my bike rack as I usually am not too far away from the car and taking it off would hopefully slow the thief down enough that I would notice what is going on. This hitch has a 1-1/4" hitch. Below are some other accessories I purchased with it that work well.Swagman XC Cross-Country 2-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1/1/4 and 2-Inch Receiver)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001VO1YY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Decent bike rack for a reasonable price.StowAway Hitch Tightenerhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001CMUV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This eliminates the wobble and vibration between the hitch and the bike rack.1 1/4 Inch (1.25") Trailer Hitch Cover Plug Inserthttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KWGU7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This is a plug to put in the 1-1/4" hitch to close the opening when the bike rack isn't attached. You do have to use a flathead screwdriver to pry it out to remove it, it fits snugly.
