Seems fairly accurate measurement wise too

I found it difficult to wrap the wire around the sticks to be able to use this. I had to have my hands on both the wire and the sticks at the same time. This made it difficult to get a good grip on the wire when trying to place the wire into the grooves.You might be able to use it if you want to use it while your project is on the wheel. You would not be able to make a level cut unless using the wheel as your support to keep things flat.

It doesn’t have numbers but that’s fine - I wrote my own. This is a clever way to cut slabs but I have a hard time handling everything (holding the rods level on the table while also making sure the wires stay put). I’ve seen other people do it with such ease. My clay would start to move once I started dragging the wire through - so then my hands would move trying to anchor it down and then the cut just becomes wonky. Using these guides is definitely still better than free handing but it makes me wanna try other slab tools.

Even though it shows that the notches have markings in the product pictures, mine came without markings.

The reason that I chose this particular item is because it was numbered. It did not come with numbers.Do not recommend

Where are the numbers? Very difficult to use without them. Yes, I can put them on but that is not what I paid for.

It took me time to mess with the whole setup, but it does cut slabs evenly. I found that using only 3 rungs at a time.
