This wee book does exactly what you would expect. It has clear photographs of the birds with good descriptions and pointers as to the most relevant distinguishing features. Birds are grouped in a logical way. Male and female and sometimes juvenile examples are provided.It is small enough to keep handy or take with you.

I bought this little guide book for my elderly mother. She gets a lot of joy from watching the bird feeders outside her window. The book was gratefully received and has been in constant use since it arrived. There's not a huge variety of visitors - but my Mum has enjoyed identifying those that have! Good artwork and information. - just the right detail.

Bought as a present - the recipient was pleased with it.

This is a really handy little book to have if you are interested in birds. Keep it in your walking jacket pocket so that its always there when you spot a bird you don't recognise. Very nice!
