Excellent! Exactly what I needed to loosen up rocky dirt to put posts in the ground. I couldn't break through it with the shovel. I've ended up using it to plant flowers, throw down seeds and mix in the dirt, and put posts for fence in the dirt. Be careful though, if it gets caught on a rock or stuck, it'll about rip your arm off. Always have a good grip and stance in case this happens. I'm a 32 yr old woman and used this very easily.

Digs plant holes in earth that was hard as a rock and totally undiggable before I bought this auger bit. I’m very happy with it. My wife is ecstatic that she can plant in places that were previously unavailable. Make sure you don’t adjust your drill’s torque too high. If you do, and you hit a snag, you could twist your arm and cause significant damage. I highly recommend this product.

This product is fantastic for planting bulbs or even gardening. It is durabile and the amount of time saved vs shovel is unspeakable, it is as simple of wiping it off to clean and if you want an easier way to use then stick in a bucket of water and dill away. It basically would fit in any drill and you can make depth with a piece of tape on the shaft if you want to plant more shallow, I used electrical tape and it help up well. Good value for the money. It is very easy to install and use as its very basic. The only downfall or negative I can think of is that if there is a weed barrier paper it gets caught up, bundled up, etc. But not necessarily a specific problem with this product itself but using a drill but like this wont be worth it.

I use this to auger into the ground making planting plants very easy. Works great with my battery-operated drill.

Makes planting Much easier. I live in an area with clay and caliche soil. These work well for most holes I've needed to dig and at least start larger holes. The large bit also worked well for mixing dry dog food (mixing types of food for picky eaters). I use a Ryobi 18V 1/2" drill.

Works better than i thought! Easy to use

Works great for my lilly bulbs this spring. Not as heavy duty as my last one, but it works for bulbs and maybe my husband won't use it to mix concrete and ruin it like my heavy duty bulb drill.
