Kotobuki Iron Japanese Wind Chime, Green Temple Bell #485-001

I appreciate the delicate design of this lovely little temple bell, "feels" authentically Japanese to me. I like that there is a "top" piece for the cord to attach to, rather than just a single knotted cord through a rounded top that has a hole. The top adds to the graceful line of the whole piece. I also like that it's green and that the label is just a little sticker, easily removed and is not part of the cast design. The little paper "wind catcher" means it cannot be hung in nature but must be under cover. Still the paper has a metal gromet to protect the exposed edges of the hole. Even the slightest breeze will cause it to flutter and twirl even if it's not strong enough to move the clapper. Love the way it looks and especially the gentle ring. A tiny little bit of that serene, Japanese esthetic on my patio!

The box it came in was labeled wrong, so wrong item was sent as shown in picture. I immediately requested replacement and received it promptly. In the meantime I fell in love with this cute little fish bell and decided to keep it, but Amazon doesn't seem to have a way to notify them, so I am waiting to be recharged for it. These little temple bells are so pretty and the sound is clear and sweet. Beautiful quality.

PRO - Perfectly cast and finished. Produces a soothing ring in light breeze.CON - The size is exactly as described, but some folks might want a larger wind chime.

Love this. Have it hanging off our deck where it catches any breeze. The sound is a delight.

I knew how big the chime would be since the dimensions were in the specs. The bell alone deserves a 5 rating. The tone is pleasant. The paper wind catcher isn’t worth the time to tie it to the clapper. You will have to find a suitable wind catcher to be able to enjoy it. I really like the chime and would recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely adore this little chime.We have it in our kitchen, it's always a treat to hear when we have the door open to let in the fresh air.The tone is clear and crisp, the look is far better in person and just beautiful in color. It seems pretty sturdy as well.The size is just as expected, the box it came in was even lovely (and luckily the box I had wanted- I am that person who cares about the packaging being original haha).At first I wondered as the provided photos are lacking a little, but it was in fact the exact item I was hoping for!Thank you!

It's "heavy" and well made....

Bought two of them and they sound slightly different from each other. I only mention this because I was pleasantly surprised, as they sound nice together.
