Fabulous surprise!
I did not realize that this iron was going to be so small (my bad, I should have known). BUT, I am SO GLAD it is! I use this for my business that involves sewing and I just LOVE it. It is heavy, which is fabulous for what I am doing. AND, it is perfect for small areas. I had no idea I would love a non-steam iron this much, but I needed it to be that way for what I am doing. Great product.

Smaller Size but Still Heavy Duty Dry Iron
I have been using this dry iron for the past week after my older one started smoking. (different brand!) This iron is a smaller size, but it is not lightweight and does the job very well. It is very easy to use, and its smaller overall size means that it can be stored, when cool, in a cabinet without any difficulty. I am happy with it - and very glad that I bought this one.

La recomiendo!!
Es una plancha pequeña, pero muy buena calidad.Estaba buscando una plancha sin vapor[ ya que con el tiempo el oxido que tiran + el agua mancha la ropa] por eso opte por esta, funciona exelente.

Sturdy but heavy
I was looking for a dry iron for my quilting. I was tired of dealing with the marks the steam holes on my regular iron would make. The WASING Lightweight Portable Dry Iron was the first one I tried. At first I was impressed with the heaviness of this iron which made it easy to get sharp prairie points with the weight of the iron pressing down on the fabric. It got plenty hot enough also. But after trying the Panasonic Automatic Iron (Dry Iron) NI-A66-K (BLACK) , I found the WASING too heavy to use constantly. I also did not like the fact that it took forever to cool down making me wary about walking away from it when it was hot. The second iron I tried was the Panasonic Automatic Iron (Dry Iron) NI-A66-K (BLACK). It is light weight and easy to use. It gets hot enough to make sharp prairie points, heats up quickly and cools down quickly. I returned the WASING and kept the Panasonic. If you like heavier irons, the WASING may be the right iron for you. It did the job well.

My sister loves it!
My sister wants to start embossing on velvet again. She is a crafter. She needs to have an iron that doesn't use steam. I tried to find her one. She also wanted one that wasn't a small iron but a regular sized one. I found this one and she says it's perfect for what she needs it to do. She also wants to make some pillows. I don't know if she has used it yet but she says it is just what she needs.

Stopped working
I loved this iron for 4 months until it started sparking then and subsequently stopped working. Now I have to find another dry iron. This iron seemed like quality at first and worked really well. A star for the auto off feature that I liked and another star because it got hot quickly and 3rd star because it removed wrinkles effectively. It was heavy for a little iron but not bulky like the steam iron. I use a mister to spray water on my clothes and I never had to worry about rust stains like I would from a steam iron. Now that it is dead, I would like to try a different brand to see if there is a more durable dry iron out there (I docked 2 stars for durability and quality)
