Hair and Skin Care - Vitamin C
I'm a 50 year old female with health issues, my meds tend to turn my skin into scaled alligator skin. I modeled until my mid 30's so, I'm very critical of my skin and hair. I have really great genetics and really great skin but, suffer from chronic dehydration - when I have these moments, I look 20 years older than I am. I just couldn't take hydrating from the inside any longer because I hate having anything on my skin. I've purchased many products in the past 6 months but, this one was the best (Vitamin C duo).I was VERY skeptical of this product because none of the others worked. This is my routine for skin and hair...Hair - I put 4 dropper fulls of Vitamin C serum and 1 teaspoon of glycerin in my favorite moisturizing conditioner. Shake very well. Wash hair in the evening (I do it about an hour before bed so I don't sleep with wet hair) apply a liberal amount of conditioner and massage from scalp to ends. Put on my silk sleep bonnet and go to sleep. In the morning, remove bonnet and fluff hair. My hair is so thick, plump and nourished. It also enhances my natural curly hair (color treating my hair tends to straighten my hair). I LOVE WHAT IT DOES TO MY HAIR!Skin (face, bedtime) - Right before bed, I wash my face with a semi coarse washcloth and a glycerin based soap (never lye, so horrible for your skin). I make my own soap heavily fortified with cocoa butter. Your water should be luke warm - to hot could shock your skin and to cold can shock your skin and close your pores. Anyways, now that skin is clean I apply retinol serum under my eyes with a Q-Tip and let dry. I apply Vitamin C serum to my forehead, nose, cheeks, ears, behind ears, neck and chest. Rub and massage well until absorbed. Once absorbed, I apply my Vitamin C lotion to the same areas and massage in well. I then take a Q-Tip and apply a generous coat of glycerin under my eyes (over the retinol). Spritz face and chest with rose water and let dry naturally. Move on to next step, HANDS!Skin (hands / feet, bedtime) - After my face, I move on to bedtime hands. Wash hands and feet thoroughly and gently exfoliating cloth. I apply 5 drops of collagen serum to the back of each hand and massage in thoroughly. I apply 10 drops of collagen serum to each foot and massage in thoroughly. I then apply a generous coat of Vitamin C lotion to my hands and massage thoroughly. Apply an extra generous amount to feet, focusing on between the toes and heels, put on socks. I put on my spandex gloves now and spritz the back of my gloves with water. When I'm ready to go to sleep, I take off my gloves and socks and go to bed.Skin (face, morning) - When I get up in the morning, I wash my face with lukewarm water. With a Q-Tip I apply Vitamin C serum under my eyes and my crows feet. I then apply my Vitamin C lotion to the rest of my face, ears, neck and chest. I then take another Q-Tip and apply glycerin to my under eyes. Spritz face and chest with rose water. Take a cotton round, cut in half and wet it with rose water, apply to under eyes for 15 minutes. Remove cotton round after 15 minutes. Done!I know it seems like a lot but, it truly isn't. The end result is so incredibly worth it - no more crepey skin or fine lines under my eyes when I smile and I look 10 years younger.TIPS: If your Vitamin C seems like it's just floating on your skin or feels sticky after you apply it - it's most likely because your skin is already hydrated and can't absorb anymore moisture. I personally just deal with it because of the other benefits of Vitamin C.If it seems like your Vitamin C regimen isn't working and your skin is still dehydrated - your environment is most likely to dry. Try getting a cold air humidifier and let it run through the day - I have my humidifier sitting in front of my rotating fan for better moisture circulation. My home is particularly dry which is why I spritz and dampen my gloves at bedtime. If your environment is to dry, your Vitamin C will pull moisture from the skin and make you look drier (wrinklier). Humidity (I prefer cold because it's already to hot here) helps A LOT!Be patient, it could take up to about a week to start seeing sustainable results. I've been using this regimen for about 2 weeks and now seeing incredible results. I missed a regimen a few days ago and didn't have time to do my routine, right before I put my makeup on, I spritzed with rose water and massaged my under eyes with the rose water and my skin plumped right up and held up for the day.

worked in ONE use! OMG!!!!
I got the Retinol one for Body and Face.I’m 38F, thin but out of shape, (5’8 130lbs ish) and haven’t worked out in years. Lately, my skin just looks bad. It looks old. It’s been really dimpley on my legs like if I was holding water weight… and unless I had tanner on it was SO NOTICEABLE! I also noticed my arms looking thicker than they are in photos bc they were just kinda saggy, and while I don’t have a ‘pooch’ my stomach was starting to sag in a way I’ve never experienced. AND my skin has been SUPER dry lately too- so I needed the works! My first use was this am. I took a bath for a bit then applied Palmers Soothing Oil for itchy skin to my still wet skin (it’s usually used for stretchies on belly for pregnancy but I just applied all over- smells like brownies), then while it was still absorbing I slathered on this stuff. I remember looking in my big mirror and just thinking the skin on my legs and arms was aging me- especially the lack of any natural tone… I just look ‘ugh’.Fast forward to late afternoon and as im walking by the mirror I had to double take. YALL!!! THE DIMPLEY SKIN IS GONE! Like GONE GONE! My belly looked firmer, and my sagging love handles arent sagging like they were. I wish I took photos this AM…Notes:- it was SO EASY to not just pump and apply but also it absorbed so quickly. Some lotions take forever or you’re stuck with white cast… not this one!!- I felt super moisturized ALL DAY! I reapplied the palmers 1x but not all over..- This worked for me… and would likely work for others, especiallyI’ll try and update this review as I take pics and can document results.BOTTOM LIME- buy it. It’s 1000% with it… and I my 15$!!! Don’t sleep on affordable Amazon finds! I freakin love this so far!!

May Work as a Retinol Product but Definitely Works as a Moisturizer
So. I like the texture of this -- it is not greasy, it absorbs quickly, and it does not leave an unpleasant residue. I use a couple of small pumps on my arms and chest, in the hopes the 'retinol' will lighten my sun spots. That said: there's no appreciable effect! That's okay, as this is moisturizing, at the least. The price point was good when I bought, the pump is sturdy, and I always need moisturizing. If some day this does actually have any 'retinol'-induced improvements, so much the better.

Very Happy here!
I bought Retinol, Advanced Firming Cream. I have extremely dry skin and my arms are very crepey. I have only used the product a couple of times and while the crepey is still there , it diminished a lot. I like that it absorbs completely and has absolutely no smell, I have allergies and need to be careful of scents. The bottle is bigger than I thought it would be so makes it a better deal for me. I can't address the pump issue others have had, I haven't used it long enough. That's a wait and see. I would definitely purchase again.

Fades old age bruises quickly and cheaper than the stuff "made" to do that.
Great for "old" skin that bruises easily! I'm 67 years old and I was getting those ugly red bruises on my arms (and face) plus thin skin that easily broke open from the slightest touch (small dogs nails). I started by combining the Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid on my face when I had a scrape and within a day or two it was gone. So I started putting it on my arms and those faded quickly and the skin is thicker and doesn't bruise as easily. I still get the occasion open scratch from my dogs nails and other sharp things but not as bad and putting these on helps them heal quicker.I've recommended this to several friends and they are also having success.
