I have used Chestal for years when I get a cough. For me, it works better than the ones with pharmaceutical compounds without the side effects, and tastes like honey. Finding it at local stores is pretty hit or miss, as it is a smaller brand. I highly recommend it, and appreciate the easy access and delivery through Amazon.

This was one of the best cough syrups that I have had for some time. You don’t need much and it works great for hours before you need to redose. It comes in a glass bottle, which surprised me as I thought everything has went plastic. The taste like honey. No bad aftertaste or nasty taste upon taking the medicine. I would definitely buy again and recommend it to there who hate the strong alcohol taste of other syrups.

Bought this on advisement of my daughter for son who had a persistent cough. It didn't work as well as we all hoped but I do not think that was the fault of the product

This is the ONLY cough syrup my husband will use when he is sick. He went to every drug store in our town and everyone said they stopped it but then he found it here on Amazon and is hoping Amazon doesn’t discontinue it. He truly believes this medicine cures your sore throat or cough in a couple of days. It’s made with pure honey which is great for a sore throat.

My go to cough suppressant- does not interact with any medications I’m on and doesn’t raise my heart rate and I just love this product!

I really love the taste of the Boiron Chestal Honey Cough Syrup, it’s pleasantly sweet and smooth. However, I don’t feel like it did much for me personally. I’ve been dealing with a lingering cough for almost a week, and I’m not sure if it’s just because this is the longest I’ve ever had a cough or if the product itself just works really slowly. It may provide some relief, but I didn’t notice a significant improvement in my symptoms. It might work better for mild cases, but for something more persistent, I’d probably try something else.
