These traps work disgustingly well...and when I say 'disgusting,' I mean the results are! Less than a week later, I was having to order more of the bait solution because I'd used what I had been sent, the containers were already full and the bait needed to be replaced! Picture, if you will, some of the images others have shared and you'll see why I had to replace the solution so quickly, because I had those same results.I'm not even mad that I ran out of the bait so quickly, because it went to show the effectiveness. I ordered 4 in all and placed 1 over my trashcan, 1 (downwind) on my porch stairs where less people walk, 1 on a branch on a tree on the left hand side of my backyard, and the last at the backyard steps.I have 5 rescue dogs, while my neighbors have a puppy (and their daughter occasionally brings her 2 dogs as well) and my sister sometimes visits with HER own 2 dogs. The yard is cleaned frequently of dog poo, but I live in Alabama, so the summer heat sometimes delays it (otherwise, you'd fall over due to heat stroke...) and during those times...the poo draws the flies.Well, now this bait draws them. I had no clue it work so quickly. I can't do without these now, but especially with it soon getting to be summer again. Now, if I could find something just as effective bait against wasps...

The Terro Fly Magnet definitely lives up to its name—it attracted every flying insect in the tri-county area. Within a couple days, it was a buzzing, writhing horror show… which I was actually thrilled about. Until the smell hit.This thing smells like Satan’s armpit after a brisk jog through a landfill. Think rotten flesh meets expired hot dog water. You’ll gag, your neighbors will gag, and the flies? Oh, they’ll come party like it’s the end of days.It filled up FAST. So fast that maggots started crawling out the top like a scene from a low-budget zombie movie. At that point, I knew it had to go. Word of advice: dispose of it before the maggots stage a prison break.Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It’s disgusting, effective, and the most powerful fly trap I’ve ever used. Just… don’t hang it near your nose, your door, or any place where you plan on enjoying life.

Admittedly, I was skeptical about this product. I live by the beach and there are many large nasty horse flies. I put the fly trap out and after 24 hours the amount of flies trapped was mind blowing! Highly recommend if you want to rid your home of the pesky dirty flies. Check out the picture…that was from 24 hours after being set up.

Do I hate to have to use these, yes, but do they do their job? ABSOLUTELY. It’s disgusting but they really do the job of catching the flies. Sitting on the back deck is better with these around. They are functional and decent value for the money. I went through two last summer, let’s see what this year brings!

My neighbor has chicken houses behind me so I have a major fly problem they are big flies that bite. They eat me and my horses and my dogs ears up. I normally don’t bother with reviews but I love this thing I bought 6 and I’m finally but at least a couple more. I’ve had them out let than a week in different areas all 6 have worked well but 2 are almost full of dead flies. Thank you thank you thank you. I am gonna try to reuse mine because there pricy to throw away after just one week. I will a can deal with the smell especially since it works awesome.

Gets the job done. However, the caps to the bottles wouldn't screw back on the bottles so I had to glue them shut.

I hung it up in my garage and it has caught so many flies. I had expected a strong smell, but so far have not noticed one. Will purchase again.

This fly trap works!!!!!! The only con is the mixture smells, but that's what the flies like. Highly recommend.
