RCLIONS 90mm RC Shocks Absorber Damper Internal Spring for 1/10 RC Crawler Car TRX4 SCX10 SCX10-II D90 Upgrade Parts

Bought these to get a little more flex on my Trx4 and they delivered. They come pre assembled with the soft black springs and feel well built. I added a few drops of shock oil to keep the shafts lubed and after some experimentation I went with the soft black springs (my truck is 11 pounds with a lot of that being unsprung weight.) and relocated the rear springs further forward. This combo gave me a huge amount of flex and droop. My only issue is you'll need spacers to get them installed correctly especially on the tops of the front shocks. Overall I'm very pleased with them.

Good for the money, the springs they supply are way too stiff I ended up using SCX24 shock springs of different rates on either side of the piston.

They work , the extra springs is cool I recommend loctite on everything can't say they are as durable as actual RC4WD ones the flex is pretty good and they fit right . Good for that scale school look

So i like these shocks overall, good quality for the money and they look good. The softest spring rate is still to stuff for a rock crawler which is what their most likely going to go on, i got the 100mm shocks and searched for softer springs and found RC4WD “ 80mm Ultimate Scale Shocks Internal Spring Assortment “ which were the same diameter spring and close in length ( 5mm shorter ) and the softest of those was definitely much more usable but the rest in the pack are too stiff in my opinion, but still much better than the ones they send. The softest spring that come with them are basically not useable but if you had to it will work.

These things are completely horrible. I bought one pack of the 110s and one pack of the 120s for 2 different rigs because the Yeah Racing Desert Lizards were not going to be here in time.First lets start with what comes in the pack. You get 4 shocks with 3 levels of springs. All three levels of springs are WAY to stiff for any normal 1/10 crawler in fact I dont know that my 1/6 scale is heavy enough for any of the springs. I had to use some pen springs to even use these shocks. Once you get the springs figured out, you better hope you got a good pack. Out of both the 120mm and 110mm packs that I bough only one of each would hold oil. The other three of each instantly leaked all of the oil. I replaced some of the orings with some extras I had and got them all to kind of hold oil.Now onto the trail. I took this out on a Sunday trek. My rig with the 110mm set made it about 200 yards before it lost all of the oil. Then while crawling up a small set of rocks my front passenger side suddenly dropped down and springs went flying. The top cap of the shock had completely stripped out and my rig was useless. Luckily, I had my wifes rig with the 120mm set. It was going amazing for about 5 minutes and then the oil blew out of all 4 shocks and then boom, front driver side stripped out.After the first incident I wondered if it was a fluke, then a whole different set did the same thing and I realized that these things are just garbage. Spend the extra money and go with desert lizards. They can leak a little but will atleast stay together and get you through the trail.
