Q: I have the 1000w fogger. When it kicks on it studders and seems like it isn't producing what it should. Should it studder with each puff?

I have an external control that allows for more flexibility to control duration and frequency. available on Amazon. The controls that come with the unit will not do that. My controls could simulate what you are wanting to do. I do not use ice, I use the liquid compound that is meant to go with the machine that produces the fog.

Q: Can I set this to run automatically for 3 hours while I take the kids trick or treating?

yes, it will operate as long as you have liquid in the reservoir. Also the programmable settings on how often it shoots out the smoke affects how long the liquid will last. Mine is set for every minute and it lasts for over 3 hours.

Q: Can I use a timer with this product? I have a fogger now that reguires manuel use, I would like to be able to set it to go off on its own
