Very nice bars but are for short trips unless you modify
I bought these for a 03 lesabre and they worked great the Buick doors don’t work with either hook so you had to hammer them out and I also put Rivnuts into my car for a more permanent mount. Two years later or daily use there still in very good shape beside a little sun fade. And if you mount them good I’ve had 600lbs on them and they bend only a fraction!! Good value for the money

Rachet system failure.
Do not buy this product. Rachet system failed and lost my brand new snowboard on the freeway. I give this product zero star rating. Piece of junk, you get what you pay for. Hard lesson to learn.

Works great for Hyundai Veloster
I got this because I couldn’t find any others to fit my Hyundai Veloster. These work great. They are locked on the roof solidly and I have taken 4 surfboards on them with no problems. Once you put them on and off, and get used to locking them down tight you will be able to make them very secure. I did have to get aero bars covers because the surfboards don’t clear the rooftop antenna without them. These are solid and study and do everything expected. Other reviewers have mentioned the noise, and they will make more noise, although it is quieter with the padded covers on them. The only problem that I run into is: because the racks vibrate on my roof when I am driving, when I use my car’s Bluetooth phone people can’t hear me as well. Because the car’s microphone is on the Inside of the roof. I end up using my earbuds to take calls when the racks are up. I can still hear them fine but they complain about me.

So far so good
So far they fit right for the car haven’t had them that long, but seems OK. Paint was a little easy to come off in one piece that covers the lock but other than that.

Great product if
The product is great until you start mounting it to the vehicle, and you start realizing a week spat between the door jamb hook and the silver strip that tightened down in the system is fragile. The two side hooks on the silver peas start bending by trying to tighten a little extra, and the not that holds the feet need to be replaced with a nylon lock nut.My advice to the manufacturer,1. The silver strip that goes into the system for tightening needs to be redesigned into a V hook style where it attaches to the door jamb hook, and the top of the hook needs to be somewhat anchored down to the silver strip itself, so it does not loosen down during tightening2. Door jamb hook hole needs to be dropped further down for Extra Strength with 10 degrees angle option if needed.3. The feet nuts need to be replaced with nylon lock nuts, and feet need to be reinforced with steel or with extra plastic cone style fill4. The anchor silver strip goes inside into the system for tightening. The backside of it needs to be filled with extra Steel to strengthen the grid for stronger tightening. If those things get redesigned correctly, in my personal opinion, it'll be the best roof rack on the market capable of carrying a 150LB load and having unlimited wind gust resistance. Worked well, install can be tuff
This worked out well but the directions are horrible. Find a video walk through of how to put together and you will be fine. After putting to together these worked out to be great. I placed a cargo basket on top of them then about another 70 pounds and no problems at all.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!!
The first time I received this, it broke as I was installing it.. that should have been my first clue. We got a replacement and I installed it myself. It worked fine for the first two times we transported kayaks, but the second time, we were on the way to the lake and the crossbar just SNAPPED and the ENTIRE thing came off the roof of the car going 55 mph on the highway. Luckily no one was hurt, but our car is damaged now because of this. DO NOT BUY IT!!! PLEASE spend a little more and get something safer!! These merely hook around the doorframe and are tightened, but the metal piece that hooks to that is what failed. Directions are terrible with broken English and only a few words with pictures!

A nightmare to put on and take off
These are very difficult to adjust to the correct fit. The ratchet system is very cheaply made; it usually tightens well enough, although it’s pretty jerky, but it’s almost impossible to loosen. We’ve used them for 3 summers now, and they’ve worked well once they’re on the car but installing them takes a few years off my life each time. Even the very first time we installed them, when they were new out of the box, the ratchet straps did not go back and forth without a LOT of work. If we could leave them on the car forever they’d probably be fine, but you can’t go through a car wash with them and sometimes the little hooks pop off the door so they need to be adjusted. You get what you pay for, I suppose, so I’m glad we saved money on this system but I would never buy them again.
