Brilliant, cheap antivirus
This works well with my M3 Mac, the vpn is all I really brought this for. It turns on at the right times, when you manually select to turn it on, it’s very speedy (around 2-3 sec).I have full weekly checks which searches every single file to detect viruses, so far all good. That takes around 5-10 mins.I definitely recommend this, especially for such a good price.

Great Except for the Free Password Manager Extension
I was sceptical about buying this software on Amazon as it was so much cheaper than elsewhere but it worked absolutely fine. However there were some learnings which I share below:I went for the email option. This was fine. It came through about 20 seconds after Amazon confirmed the order and had the code and necessary instructions explaining how to install the software.I already had an active Norton Account so I was able to keep this account and reload the code and download. To do this, I needed to go to "Help" then " Support" and then type in "Device Security" and follow the instructions. It downloaded very easily and quickly. This option was not shown on the email which assumed I did not already have a Norton Account. It is easy and essential to turn off the Automatic Renewal (which is currently charging renewal at £69.99!). Go to "My Subscriptions" then "Manage Renewals" and follow instructions. When downloading I was given the option to add a free extension for Password Manger. This loaded fine but when I went to access my saved websites it worked okay except for websites with security numbers where Password Manager blocked these so I could not access these accounts.(It might have been the websites doing this as a security protection?) It took me 4 hours to work out how to disable the Password Manager. In Essence, I needed to go into my browser, find "Extensions" and delete it from here. It cannot be disabled from the Norton software.( even uninstalling and reloading would not work). In conclusion, I would buy this again but not add in any free extensions.

Not so value for money antivirus
I too only use my pc rarely and am fed up with so called free antivirus. So I bought a trusted name Norton.I cannot use it until I give card details for auto renewal at £64.So antivirus is big business if single users are conned like this.I won’t use it . Lost 8.99 but will take up with Amazon.

Initial Purchase Price attractive but this renews at six times the price, unless cancelled
Had a Customer today who wanted Norton 360 but doesn't like to use his credit card on the Internet. Well sadly no choice.Note the product key cannot be used without subscribing to Norton and providing your credit card details in advance of the next renewal. The Initial purchase price was £9.99 but the product renews at over £60.00.The solution is to subscribe and then go into the account once the product is activated and cancel the auto renewal feature. Norton will then send you a notification when the one years subscription is ending but will not bill automatically. Some rival products do not have this catch and can be activated with no obligation to subscribe and with no auto-renewal.On set up you will note that the Internet Security features need to be enabled separately, for example Norton Safe Search. This may be confusing for non-geeks. The feature is not essential though but why buy this product for just Anti-Virus and Firewall.Anti-virus and Firewall will be running with no additional setup required.I always turn Norton's Performance tuning features off as they are unnecessary and just use up system resources. I've had machines run worse when this feature is active, which defeats the object really.Norton wouldn't be my first choice personally but the customer likes it.
