This question may be better posed to a professional. That said, I find the Cetirizine does not make me drowsy. It may be one of those disclaimers that manufacturers have to show to cover all the legal "just in case" situations. I know someone who has to go to bed if she takes one acetaminophen tablet, as it puts her to sleep. YMMV.

Q: What are the inactive ingredients? Especially wondering about aluminum lake.

There is aluminum lake in the one I'm taking now, but I don't have the container as shown. I've used it already. I have to take every day for allergies. The seller should be able to tell you. Sorry couldn't help more. Ramoba

I have been taking this product daily for five months. We are into heavy pollen days and so far it has been effective. Aprox. Two hours after a dose I feel a bit tired but it passes quickly. One tenth the cost of Zyrtec.
