Nice temporary phone
Worked right out of the box!!! My daughter jumped in the pool and had her iPhone in her back pocket :( so we got her this phone for temporary use. It was hilarious to see her use it. She is so used to the smartphone she had a little trouble adjusting lol but she will appreciate the experience and hopefully be more careful in the future. She picked to phone herself and has found it easy to use once she understood the navigation. We were happy to see that it was compatible with our carrier. Good phone for the price!!

Don’t get this unless you like to waste money
I bought this too long ago to return (just over 30 days) and I’ve spent that entire time just trying to get the thing to work. I’ve bought multiple SIM cards and started plans with multiple service providers (CDMA and GSM) to find that none of them work with this phone and that this phone only supports a few bands of 2G GSM. I eventually found that Red Pocket mobile uses the 1900MHz band that this phone uses, so I launched service with them. That ALSO failed!!! This phone never says anything besides “Emergency Call” which I assume means “Emergency calls only” and it has never worked with any of the SIM cards I’ve tried with it… even sims that should be compatible. Don’t get this phone unless you enjoy wasting time and money.

Perfect for what I needed it for!
Perfect for what I needed it for! For some reason (that makes no sense to my brother haha), I wanted to keep my old South FL home phone number. It originally went from a Landline, to Vonage, then to Ooma for 20 years. I switched to the free plan for Ooma (only playing taxes which came out to like $5+ a month). I then decided to take the journey to port it from Ooma to Google Voice. After about 16 days it finally ported over to Ting! Which led me to this phone.I cam looking on Amazon for a cheap unlocked GSM phone to use with Ting. This fit the bill. Decided to take a shot and it did what I needed. Took a little while with some searching on Amazon to figure out the thing cause the directions are pretty worthless. Used a nail clipper (I have no fingernails haha) to pry it open. To do that on the bottom right (as in my 2nd pic) just pry in the groove there and it'll come apart eventually. You'll prob have to work around it to get it all off. Then after figuring the right position for the sim card (last pic) got that going. I first tried the top part thinking that's where it goes, but it has to go all the way down. It works with Ting just fine! They got great customer service by the way. This was the cheapest way for me to port the number. I took a picture of the way the battery goes. It only goes in one way. I saw another question about using the flashlight, to do that you can access it from the menu or long pressing the 0 button that has the icon. To turn it on you long press the Phone icon on the right with the slash through it (and very little power icon I just noticed).Volume sounds really loud. Can't comment on battery since I've only taken one call so far to verify my number with Google Voice. This phone screams perfect for kids to stay in touch with their parents. I think I'll keep it as a backup phone and one to travel with (if that ever starts happening again) abroad. Overall outside of the lackluster instructions, it seems like a great phone for what it is.

A very good basic phone they refuse to update
They must have sold millions of these various "Zoey" (and related Tank/Jenny) models. But they won't make a 4g version. The camera is very weak, but it's there if you only want it for when you absolutely must text a picture of something. Everything else is OK or good for a cheapo phone. The physical build is better than a lot of other brands. The buttons feel like a higher-end phone. The FM radio doesn't harass you for headphones (built in antenna). The radio and MP3 player can run in the background. They don't tell you, but the batteries in most models are standard BL-4C or BL-5C types and cheap to get spares if you need to extend the already good battery life. It does have a VERY basic web browser, all you need to check news or google stuff.BUT... you can't hardly use these anywhere now. And either Blu or whatever mystery factory they use refuses to make the same popular phone compatible with current technology. Why? Who knows. Maybe someone in the supply chain is trying to get fired. A competing brand is selling a 4g flip phone of absolutely abysmal quality for triple the price because there is no competition.

Sim card did not fit in
The phone turned on and was working but when I tried to put my sim card in I broke the slot. I tried the other slot and it did not recognize my sim card. Maybe it just doesn't work with Consumer Cellular.

BLU is best
Had top of the line phones from Samsung, moto, so many others and Blu.....well two Blu phones were more dependable, reliable, durable, and worth every penny spent. One took a dive in a toilet, discovered five minutes later, towel dried and still working ..that was four years ago.

Epic fail
I put in the battery and put on charger for 24 hours as directions stated, then inserted sim card. The battery never charged and the phone would not turn on. No functions worked at all. Total waste of money. Don't bother!
