I had a customer that had a IQ500 that would not boot, error CPU temp fan.After opening it and getting to the fan, it was obvious it needed replacing.Order two, as the GPU needs to be replaced along with the CPU fan. You will save a lot of time by doing both at the same time. The owner of the computer is a heavy smoker and the fans were clogged with dust and smoke residue.

Very quiet, no complaints

I decided to try and repair an error on my HP Touchsmart IQ 500 desktop CPU. This was the exact fan in the system and I was able to replace it fairly easily. My CPU is now back up and running.

No issues at all to replace my old fans. Just a bit of common sense and my CPUs are back to being "cool"!

So far my computer is working well without any noise. This fan I replaced when the old fan was giving noise. Now it solved the problem.
