We set these on our front of the house. The back has a 7-foot metal fence. It is wireless but needs electricity. We had an old Dell monitor to set up the feed to. It was simple for us to setup. We can see all for angles with the 4-split screen on the monitor. Being older, it takes a while to get up and moving (slowly), but seeing someone coming helps us get up before the get here!

Set up was pretty standard . The OS is built just for surveillance. First time turning on it runs you through set up. Location , date time etc. Comes with a mouse to navigate interface . Image is 720p through lens but 1080p on TV or monitor. If your familiar with the first version of ring or nest the night and day vision clarity is similar . It comes with a app you can use if your away from your house . On the app and DVR. You can choose segments you wish to save for whatever reason and zooming . It's TRUE wireless other then placing them near a outlet or running a longer ac adapter or extension cord. This is by far the best value considering price comparison to other systems . This is not compatible with smart devices for those wondering hence the price listing but don't quote me I'd have to double check. I do believe the nvr can support up to 8 cameras with of course additional units purchased . The holes in the Camara stand are small but it comes with 4 screws and 4 anchors per camera. I also used liquid nails for a more permanent and that just incase secure measure but that's my own take . The interface is equivalent to a standard system used in a retail or gas station store if anyone has experience working in that line of work. Serves purpose.

I had nothing but problems from the time I open the box.1st off setting it up there was no instructions no user manual with it so I open it up and six out of the eight cameras work. one of them that didn’t work says wrong username and password the other one wouldn’t connect at all. after trying to change out the hard drive just one time the very cheaply made motherboard inside the NVR box decides to come unsoldered where the hard drive clip clips to the board. I contacted Simon with the company and he agreed to send me two cameras and they never made it finally after emailing with him about the NVR system and sending a new board for that he requested pictures of where the motherboard was broke so I send pictures after that I hear nothing about replacement for anything communication completely ended so I contacted Amazon about returning the product they allowed me to since I got no satisfaction from the seller soon as I received the return label from Amazon. I’ll get an email from ever sick you saying would you like to try our products for free respond yes if you would so I respond yes they say just give us your mobile number and we will send you a coupon for the system that you purchased I’ll give them my mobile number and then again communication stops so I’ll reply to them and let them know all the trouble that I’ve had and again the runaround for a whole week finally I told them replace it or I’m just going to send it back to Amazon and get my refund. Finally they said they would replace it as long as ice shipped it back to them at my cost waiting for them to receive it then they would send me a new one now mind you this is not to accompany address this is to a name and an address in New Jersey so how do I know I’m ever going to get another system plus I have to pay the shipping for their junk product I think not. Thank God Amazon is a standup company and will refund it and they sent a shipping label at their cost. My advice don’t do any business with this company because if you have any problem at all you will have zero satisfaction whatsoever my advice to Amazon is do not allow the seller to sell any more merchandise on your website

For the price it is a good value. Everything like night vision works great. This is the second camera set i bought from them. So far i had bought the 1st one about 2 years ago. They are working like the day i bought them. The only thing i don’t like the s the signal from the camera outside. I can’t complain. It is a little far away from the base and I have cement walls that block the signal. Over all for the price and value it is worth it. I use it for the convenience of security.

Easily installed and great night vision from these cameras

Easy to set up and use. And surprisingly clear video, and the range is exaggerated, I have one camera 50 ft away from the wireless receiver and that camera goes in and out sometimes not recording. The DVR receiver must be on and connected to a monitor or tv that is always on or the system goes into a sleep mode which I cannot figure out how to turn off because it does not turn back on automatically when motion is sensed or continue to record.....Update... 1 year laterThe system has completely froze up and I am unable to get any product support.

This is a very good bang for your buck camera system. Have had no trouble with it. All cameras connected right out of the box wireless. Has good quality video and night vision. The fact that it has facial recognition is pretty cool too. Meaning if it sees a face it actually says face on the screen. Alerts you to movement. Very simple to set up. All in all a good system I have bought 2 so far 1 for my business and 1 for my house.
