Oznium 20 Pieces of PLCC-2 Surface Mount LEDs, 3528 Size SMD SMT LED - Amber

Awesome LED’s. Installed it on my 4th gen 4 runner and it looks so much better. Soldering will be needed in order for it to work. Don’t forget to orient the polarity correctly before soldering it on. Here’s a before and after photo.

I ordered these LEDs for my Harley Davidson Road Glide speedo and tach gauges. I used the red ones to light up the numbers & odometer, and used white ones for the needle. When installing, make sure you pay attention to the polarity of the LEDs. There is a notch in one corner to help (red is opposite all other colors. I attached the image explaining this from the Oznium site). If you know how to solder, this is a great upgrade to boring stock gauges.

I replaced the instrument cluster LEDs in my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. They look good! However if you are going to solder these LED's in yourself make sure you get a few extra depending on your soldering skill. These LED's are super small and extremely delicate - they melt quickly if you are not careful. Make sure you have a hot, clean, fine point soldering tool if you intend to replace them yourself. And a well-lighted magnifying lens too...did I mention they are super small?

Update - Seller contacted me in writing via snail mail and offered a refund. Great customer service. I'm not taking the refund though since I have nothing to return and reading these is Ice Blue may have been my fault. 5 StarsOriginal - So I guess I'll be doing this project over with the correct color LEDs eventually. Knocking off two starts for what I feel was bait and switch or misrepresentation of the color. As for the LEDs themselves, 100% of the ones I used (16) worked perfectly - so 5 stars for product and price.

Replaced amber LED chips with these blue chips and they were perfect blue and 100% of them were functional.

They work great, nice blue light. And easy to solder on a circuitboard
