Q: Can you only view 35mm slides? I have slides taken with 110 film.

If I remember correctly, 110 positive film was mounted in the same size mount as 35mm film.

Q: Is it just individual load or is there a tray so I can load & view more than one slide at a time? Exactly how does it work? What size is the screen?

Yes it is individual load. You can only load one photo at a time. There is a tray to catch the photo after you release it that will hold about dozen photos. The screen size is 3x3 inches. The photo magnifying is good and bright. There is a button you press to release each photo after you have finished viewing it but I found this button sticks often and you have to turn the viewer upside down and shake it to release the photo.

Q: Is this good for old slides too?

I viewed my father's old slides (taken while serving in Korea) with this device. Sometimes they stick a bit, but overall this device is easy to use and extremely functional. I think that the paper that was used in the old slides expanded with age, which is why they sometimes would get stuck. But I realized that when holding the lever while pushing in another slide would break it free and it came out in the bottom tray. Much easier to use than a projector, and I am very happy with it.

Q: Can the focus be adjusted on this device?

No - There's no focus adjustment. But, on the other hand, none is really needed. This is a viewer and not a projector. Basically, just think of this unit as a magnifying glass which is held in place above the slide with a light behind the slide to illuminate it. Just as with a magnifying glass there is no focus, there is no focus needed with this device.

It is not a projector, just a viewer

Nifty little product but item title is deceiving. Will teach me to read the product description. It is not a “projector”. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been deceived.Also you have to make sure the slides are flat otherwise they get stuck.
