Works well boosted my tv signals to 100%

This was bought to replace a old failing unit and it improved the signal quiet a bit

Solidly built, it provided the necessary signal boost needed to stretch my aerial signal from loft to lower floors. Be aware of the connector-type it uses - though these are the more secure types and are easy to buy/fit. Adjustable gain is not available but the fixed gain is higher than most boosters provide and it all worked perfectly.

I have used various signal boosters for my TV over the years and have experienced a range of results from good to absolutely useless. The Labgear LDA101R stands head and shoulders above all of them. My previous signal booster performed quite well but there were 2 Freeview channels (8 and 51) which it struggled with, and their reception depended a great deal on the prevailing weather conditions. The Labgear has no problem with any Freeview channel and the set up response on changing channels I have noticed is much faster. On some channels I have even noticed a marked improvement in picture quality compared to the previous booster.The manufacturers state that the product is meant for use with external aerials but mine is an indoor aerial. I was even thinking of changing to an outside aerial. Adopting the Labgear amplifier has saved me a considerable amount of money, time and effort.

Don’t buy this item IF you are going to use it for Sony Bravia TVs XR 65inch it’s not suitable.

A universal signal booster for Freeview TV, DAB and FM use, the "Labgear LDA101R 1-Way Distribution Amplifier - 4G Filtered Professional Booster For TV/FM/DAB Signals 1 Output RED Compliant" features F-type connectors which are likely to be more secure and than standard coax connectors, some pairings of which are loose and easily disconneceted.Needed solely for DAB and FM, using the tuner's INFO facility shows that DAB signal quality level can be as low as 3 or 4 when it used to be 9 or 10 using the same tuner and aerial in the same location; there is no metering of signal strength so any improvement will not be obvious. It was also found that, when recently using headphones rather than the speakers normally used, there was a very audible level of background noise that may have been previously absent. Low signal level, possibly caused by recently erected nearby steel-framed tower blocks, may be to blame.This was purchased in the hope that it would boost signal level sufficiently to raise the registered quality which now reads 8 and eliminate the noise which has apoparently disappeared. The installation can therefore be considered a success.The booster is mains powered via a fitted lead and it can be wall-mounted if desired - screws and other fitments are not included.

Great product, only booster that works!!

Not suited to my needs, is not suitable for use on Sky RF2 output for second room TV. Returned for credit.
