Easy to setup and two temperature sensors were perfect to check the fridge and freezer section of our portable fridge. Just wish the display part was backlit since it’s hard to read most of the time without having to shine a light on it.

I bought this because our French door refrigerator tended to have one door left somewhat ajar. The same problem could happen with the bottom freezer drawer if something blocks it from fully closing. The refrigerator's built in alarm was too faint to notice the door/drawer was ajar, particularly after bed. This thermometer/alarm works as expected, at a good price. One sensor is in the refrigerator compartment, one is in the freezer. I set alarm to trigger if the temperatures get too high, and it works well. It could be louder, but it is loud enough. Not super responsive, it takes a little while (20 seconds or so) to register a temperature increase, which is OK since I don't want the alarm going off every time I open the fridge. As others have noted, it isn't super accurate, I would say it is reading about 2 degrees F high, compared to known accurate thermometers I have on hand. This isn't a big deal, considering the price is right.

This works as intended, hence the 5-star review. Make sure you use lithium batteries in the freezer.

This is the second set related to this order. The first set did not work and will be returned. This set works, but temp changes are slow to show. When moving a sensor from the refridgerator to the freezer it took more than 30 minutes for the display to show the accurate freezer temp.

Using in two separate freezers and after some time of monitoring does not display temp for either freezer

It works good for what I needed it for. Only reason I bought this was to alert me if one of my two freezers quit so that I wouldn't lose the food. As far as accuracy, one sensor is pretty accurate, within 1-2 degrees. The other sensor is within about 3-4 degrees accurate and bounces around that range quite a bit. The loudness of the alarm is good and can be heard in multiple rooms, it's not loud but plenty loud enough. No problem at all with range reception range of sensors and one freezer is in the basement. Easy to set up once you figure it out, but the instructions are somewhat confusing and needs to be in LARGER PRINT, SAME WITH 99% OF ANYTHING ON PAPER TODAY!!! For the love of Pete, it's like trying to read microfilm without the viewer, had to use reading glasses PLUS a magnifying glass!! Other than the crappy instructions, my only real complaint is that the display is pretty dark, does it need to be bright...no, as long as it's readable, but come on, it really should be easy to read. I actually think it may be dimming with time. I've only had it about a month and can tell it's much darker now. I checked the battery voltage and they're both fine so who know what the deal is. Hope it doesn't go completely dark on me.

I got a second "fridgenator", so bought KeeKit instead of a better-known brand of temperature monitor to avoid sender signal mix-up. My first fridge had an AcuRite temperature monitor (which is a great product). I was pleasantly surprised that KeeKit seems to be a better value. Instead of just two temperatures, you get three: 1) freezer 2) fridge, and 3) room temp. The display numbers on the KeeKit are smaller, and it seems a bit dimmer, but this isn't a problem for me. See the photos. The KeeKit is a bit cheaper, too. Only time will tell if is holds up as well as AcuRite, or it's battery drain is better or worse. I'd recommend KeeKit as a quality brand of refrigerator temperature monitor.

This is a MUST HAVE product! It seems temps were accurate but guess what? My fridge thermistors were off. In fact, it destroyed all my food and I have to find the thermistor and replace it myself. So if you see people complaining about this device being inaccurate then just know some of these thermistors stop working right and it's better to have it broke here than in your fridge. This device is easy and cheap to replace but your fridge isn't. So this device works and works very well and my next step is to fix the fridge, which I have set to maximum but it shows the fridge isn't colder than it really is.UPDATE: The sensor in the freezer did stop working BUT it was iced over. It lasted for a little while. I probably would not recommend these in a wet area. They're not water proof but the one in the fridge is working fine and that's the one I need most!!**LAST UPDATE** The freezer sensor I removed the batteries, art it aside. After a couple of days it wasn't working but today I added batteries just a few weeks after it stopped and guess what? Working! Lol!Ok then, I'm set on this product. I'll buy more for other projects because this is really cool.

Los números son grandes aunque algo inexacto en sus lecturas pus varía con dos o tres grados pero tolerable por lo menos cumple el objetivo de no estar abriendo el refrigerador continuamente para revisar el termómetro interno y a su vez perder temperatura por abrir el refrigerador!

Evita abrir el refrigerador o congelador para checar la temperatura y así ahorrar consumo de energía por pérdida de temperatura al abrir

Para tener un parámetro de las temperaturas es bueno, no tiene una rápida modificación en las lecturas pero es buena para medir máximos y mínimos por un tiempo prolongado

I had doubts as to how well this would work thru the metal wall of a refrigerator but it works for my fridge and my chest freezer across the room. If the temp goes outside the preset range there is a beep similar to that of a timer that keeps ringing until it is turned off on the main unit. This is a great unit in case the fridge door does not close properly or there is power outage. It displays the min and max temp so if there is a power outage you will have an idea whether the food spoils if you were not home at the time. The temp between the units is fairly close on the main unit and remotes after leaving them on for a stabilization period.

Easy to use and read. Works well, distance from sensors not an issue. Biggest issue is that the min/max readings seem to re-set every few hours, which defeats the purpose of those readings (for me). Will be sending back and looking for a set that will allow me to manually re-set the min/max readings
