Worked great out of the box, plug it in and there is a good amount of improvement over a phone mic. With my Galaxy 8, I did not need to download any kind of app. I've used the headphone port to monitor on my laptop to desktop speakers, no problems or adjustments. You can't beat the price and many of these for phone mics do not have the headphone monitor jack but this one does. You will find this mic is a good value and very useful.

Needed a small microphone that I could also use with my head phones as I didn't want to buy a headset with integrated microphone.This did the job and sound quality is good.The product advertising says it supports live monitoring pass through but the reviews say that it doesn't, which is great for me because I don't like hearing myself in my own headphones.The hinge part of the device seems to be fragile and could break if you're not careful with it. Also it leans slightly to one side when plugged in.

Purchased to use with Cowin E7 and PS4. Didn't exactly perform as expected. Mic picked up voice but the volume was quite low for the listener. Maybe the way we used it wasn't as intended. I will be returning the mic in search of something that fits our needs.

This is not a good product. You get what you pay for. Used this to record a concert and any bass sound is completely distorted and muffled. iPhone mic is 10x better by itself.

You can create a rig to chat on Xbox and Discord on Xbox while you game. The other side you wire up a Bluetooth transmitter to hook to any Bluetooth earbuds or headphones for the game and chat sound.

I have purchased quite a few different mics to try to get better sound on Facebook Live (follow us on The Knowsy Neighbors to hear it in action). I really like it because you can flip it forward and back. When I'm talking I want it pointed to me, when I am interviewing someone, I want it aimed at them, works perfect. It is also light so it won't add wieght when you are carrying your phone.

The mic itself picks up the sound good. As for the headphone jack though, not quite sure. It sounded muffled on both earphones and headphones. When I try to listen or watch my recordings, I'd have to max out the volume to be able to hear and still sounded muffled. Most of the time, it only picks the background music. With that flaw aside, I still like it and will use it.
