This is the best chef's knife I have ever had. Certainly the best edge and stays sharp. I plan to buy the entire range knife by knife. If you enjoy being in the kitchen this is the brand for you.

I bought the paring knife from this series.The blade steel is layered damascus with vg-10 core, and in my opinion this is about the best steel for kitchen knives. The handle is some kind of plastic composite with a nice brass inlay. Blade edge was very good out of the box.I am knocking off one star because the headline description contains the words "Forged Japanese Damascus Knife" but it is in fact made in China.Overall, though, a very good knife.

Great value and very sharp. Easy to hold and use.

For me, it has micron thickness ‘Damascus layers’ so imho not a true Damascus knife.. BUT it is razor sharp even though I haven’t used it much yet and have no idea how long it’ll keep its edge
