Really happy with how it works, phone doesn't take long to charge, light is okay, it's not constant and is pretty dim, it actually looks cool, only small issue is the heat, but it's not awful.

Easy to use but phone moves around whilst charging so fails to charge.

I did wonder how well this would work for my Samsung S8+ given that the Samsung official wireless charger was so much more money...Well... it works brilliantly and is an absolute Godsend over faffing will cables every night.So much easier to simply place square on the pad.. Your fully charged phone can then simply be snatched off it fully charged in the morning...Yes.. it does take 3.5 hours as opposed to the 1 hour 20 minutes via a fast charger, but there is another reason I recommend it over conventional charging...My old phone's (a Samsung S6) charging port gave up the ghost 1.5 years into a 24 month contract.. due to wear caused by constant charger insertion.. It then suddenly died despite being also chargeable by a contacless charger, something I am convinced was caused by a fatal short circuit in the visibly damaged usb..I believe it is definitely a good idea to at least combine usb and contactless charging.
