What are the Advantages Grow Bags? Grow bags offer several distinct advantages over other growing methods. Plants grown in plastic pots quickly become root bound with roots circling the pot. In contrast, grow bags allow oxygen to penetrate the walls of the pot. When roots come into contact with these higher levels of oxygen they branch out and become more fibrous. A recent study in Texas showed plants developed double the root mass when grown in Grow Bags compared to traditional plastic pots. This increased root mass means increased surface area to absorb water and minerals resulting in a stronger, healthier and faster growing plant. Grow bags not only let the oxygen in, they also let water out, preventing problems associated with over watering like root rot. Because of these desirable properties Grow Bags have become the pot of choice for many hydroponic farms and commercial nurseries alike. Why should I Start Using Grow Bags? Because the just work! Grow Bags are great for growing fruits and vegetables and well as ornamental plants around the house. They are quick to set up and can be placed on Patios, Walkways or Balconies. They also make a great addition to the back yard. They biggest difficulty with growing plants in the back yard is aerating heavily compressed backyard soil to create a suitable growing environment. The soil in many back yards is not suited to growing vegetables and often does not drain well. Grow bags solve this problem. Simply unfold and fill with your preferred growing media and you have a high performing garden within minutes. Grow Bags can also be easily relocated or folded up and stored when not in use. Best of all, Hydra Grow Bags are made of high quality materials and built to last so your Grow Bags will perform for many years in all weather conditions.

Perfect! Especially if you have to move a plant for WIP landscaping.
We are currently in the process of redoing the back yard (mud, dirt and blackberry hole) and my SO purchased an orange tree, with it he received strawberry plugs. Since we don't have an area prepped for strawberry and we intend to move sometime in the near future and want to take these to the new house with us, I figured these bags would be perfect.Boy howdy are they ever. Originally I had only purchased 5 because we had intended to plant 5 of the plugs in the ground elsewhere. After some thought, we decided we wanted all ten portable. With all of the work that still needs to be done in the area they will be kept in (weed barrier, mulch and stone retaining wall behind) these bags help relieve a lot of hassle.Even filled with dirt (two of them are shallow, we are getting more soil soon) they are extremely light. The soil does shift when you pick it up, but not enough to disturb the plant. They are, so far, hefty and I have had 5 of them in use for a little over a week. Excess water is easily drained out the bottom (and even sides if you do way too much!). The handles are sturdy and improve the carrying of plants immensely. Two more pictures added of when we first planted the strawberry plugs (4/29/2017), two in each as I was waiting on the next set of bags. I don't know if the bags and their good drainage are the cause, but the plants are growing like mad! Please ignore the shoddy bed and fence, we're redoing it all!Package arrived promptly, bags were bound with one packing strap band easily cut with a knife or scissors. Bags unfold easily and wrinkle disappear almost as soon as it is filled. Any dents will smooth out in a day or two.10/10 Would buy again AND refer to others.

Better than clay pots
These bags are exactly as advertised. They are very easy to use, help the plants get air to the roots and make for a more healthier plant. I use them for transfer to outside in the spring. You have to watch the water though. They do dry out more quickly than clay pots do.

Best Grow Bags out there!!! A must for any gardener
I have used this type of grow bags for a few years now. I have always purchased them from a Nursery, very pricey and not the best quality. I found these grow bags from ECO gardener on Amazon recently and decided to try them out. I am very happy with the quality and the pricing. Best deal out there. They even come with handles which is great when I need to move them around. Great product, best grow pots ever!!! A must for any gardener. Thanks for the great product ECOgardener!

Raised beds, portable, convenient, lightweight
I bought three sets of these bags, different sizes, some with handles some without. These low cost bags will work well for me as I plan to use them in my community garden plot. Instead of filling my 4'X4' raised beds with quality soil that I may not have in future, I can fill these bags. I love the handles, love the convenience and the ability to have a small raided bed in a lightweight bag.

Our tomatoes are thriving in these
We've had trouble with our tomato plants every year, and it's definitely a combined issue of soil and enough sunshine since we live in northern West Virginia. We decided to try these this year, and our plants are thriving! They're nearly a foot taller than we've had in the past. We still planted a few in the ground, and the ones in these buckets are at least a foot taller than those. We've had a great deal of rain this summer, and the bags have allowed the excess to drain with no issues. They have more than enough room for the plants to grow, and while they can be heavy due to the dirt and plant, they aren't hard to move to allow for more sunlight. We plan to get more next year. As of now, we've got flowers on all of the plants that are in these and multiple little tomatoes.

Easy Container Organizing - gardening
I should have ordered larger bags. They are sturdy. They're also portable, of course. That makes for easy placement. I would certainly recommend them for small spaces, apartments, decks. Although, I have them on my back lawn. My intent is to reuse them with changing seasons and crops. This is my first purchase. Durability is still a question.

Love them
Awesome addition to the garden, especially since it's my first garden at my new home and I'm not sure how the trees are going to affect my full sun. These will allow mobility, if need be. Good quality. I expect them to hold up for several years.

Excellent
Transplanted pumpkin yesterday from a friend who brought over barely protected roots. Last night wasn't sure it was going to make it, but this morning, looks super happy in its new home. I like the shape, the way the dirt settles in and the theory the roots will form more dynamic root system than containers where the roots run along container.
