I really like this set of knives and so does my wife. I am certainly NOT any kind of "gourmet chef". Actually, I'm much better at "eating" then I am at "cooking" but when I do help my lovely wife in the kitchen, these knives have impressed both of us so far.Some reviews expressed some problems with the knife holding "block". The one I got is GREAT. I really like the finish and there are NO imperfections at all. The best part is the KNIVES. They were "surgically" sharp and very comfortable to use. I am a 67 year old man with medium to large hands and I found these knives to be VERY comfortable to hold and use. So far, they cut VERY well and are holding a good, sharp edge. My wife likes them too and frankly, she is the expert.We have only been using this knife set for about a week but I would highly recommend them. I really LIKE 'em.By the way, I am not only a VERY LOUSY COOK, I am also NOT a "paid endorser" for this product. I just like them. so far.

I have used these for a few months now, and I hav been nothing but impressed. They feel good, look good and do their respective jobs as I’d expect!I’ve had good knives and bad knives. I’ve kept bad knives usable longer than I should and I’ve ruined expensive knives shamefully fast.These knives were sharp out of the box, packaged well and the faux wood handles seem hugely better than the others I’ve seen.I have no reason to believe these won’t last indefinetely. I wash them by hand, after each use, dry them and put them away. I take care of them. Any knife, affordable or not, if you don’t care for them in at least this capacity, will turn to crap in no time. Good knives need care and maintenance. As long as you give these the minimum level of care they require, they should serve you well for a long time.

Beautiful knives, excellent quality, however, they are not self sharpening, the block does not have the built in sharpener. The set contains a manual sharpening tool.thank you!

I enjoy using these knives, they are sharp and handle easily. There was an issue with one of the knives and the seller was eager to resolve it. Great company!

These knives are extremely sharp, maybe too sharp. Please be careful with them when unpacking and using them. I cut myself while unpacking them and gave myself 6 stitches 🧵😭. I’m actually afraid to use them now because they are so darn sharp. I am slowly trying to use them to actually make them a little more dull. These knives are for professional chefs.👩‍🍳

Well...they are sharp that's for sure. I will spare pictures for those who are queasy, but let's just say the knife was sharp enough to go through my hand when cutting an avocado. Quality has not diminished whatsoever, can use it for anything I need, like going through my hand, or cutting vegetables.Will purchase again if ever needed.

I love this high quality knife set, which can meet all me needs via one set. the wood stand look very decent, which keeps knife organized.The reason I gave 4 star is knife is not that sharp after long times using. I know most of knifes have same issue. I'm ok with it as long as I have knife sharpener.

For the money this set gets the job done - ask me in a few months to see how they hold up but knives came sharp out of the box
