I bought a battery operated hook from a local store and after replacing the batteries twice, saw this rechargeable hook. I love love love it! It’s lighter, it has two brightness levels (great for dark yarn), and I can recharge it instead of buying batteries which makes me feel just a little bit “greener”. So happy with it that I bought one for a friend. She loves it too!

So far these hooks work as advertised as in I can see the stitches I am working on..The hook sized is printed on each hook in mm. I would prefer a letter or number; however, these are sent worldwide, so I get that the mm. sizing is more universal.I didn't think the handle was all that ergonomic, but it hasn't made my hand or wrist hurt, so maybe it is.The plastic wrench is difficult, if not impossible, to use. At least in my case, I couldn't get it to fit on the hook, luckily I haven't actually needed it as the hooks twist into the handle fairly easily. Not sure they lock without the wrench, though.I wanted something inexpensive to see if I even liked working with lighted hooks, so with that in mind, this product does the trick.

My little sister hates it when i keep the lights on late at night because im crocheting so this is an amazing alternative!

I love how it helps lighten up black yarn and any dark yarn!

The hooks are very flimsy and this was a gift to my mother. She and I both used them to see how they felt but they were very flimsy. Which is not conducive to proper crocheting.

Arrived double bagged, in a pouch with a zipper. Nice feature that keeps the tools in place. The light is so nice, especially when, late in the day, less daylight illuminates the yarn. Charging is a breeze, assuring the light will work when its needed.

I purchased these for my mother. She loves that she can work on darker yarn easily but she wishes the tips were sharper. She says she struggles a bit to get them through the stitches. She is a tight crocheter.
