goDog BedZzz with Chew Guard Technology, Medium, Beige Bubble

This very soft and appeared to be well-made dog bed lasted one day with my dog. Needless to say my dog hates to be kenneled and I was hoping this would make his time in the kennel a little more comfortable but not so much, the bed was in pieces when I got home. So no more dog bed and no more kennel. I am guessing for most dogs this would be perfect, it does have a very soft top and a nice sturdy bottom. It easily fit my 70lb dog comfortably. This company does offer a one time replacement- which is awesome. I have contacted the company for my replacement but yet to receive it. (It’s only been about a month since I contacted them, I believe they said it was going to take at least this long to get another). In conclusion, if I didn’t have such a crazy dog I would be happy with this product!Edir: This company stood by their word and sent me a brand new bed, it took quite awhile to get but they do replace it if your dog destroys it.

My 120+ pound GSD has chewed through every bed, usually within a day - until this one. I have one in his crate and one in the den, and neither one has even a tooth mark! I don't know why, but he isn't interested in chewing it. When one of the jealous cats peed on the one in the den, I sprayed it with detergent, hosed it off, hung it in the sun to dry, and it looks and smells like new. (My washing machine just isn't big enough to handle an XXL dog bed.) It rolls up for storage when I need to clear the den floor. The dog loves sleeping on it as do the cats. I love that it's lasted for months without a single hole or tear and gives his old bones a soft spot to lie on.Highly recommended!

I love the goDog brand and their chew guard technology. Our pup is a pretty dedicated chewer, so we appreciate the toughness of chew guard liners in her stuffed toys. Their stuffed toys last a long, long time so I thought we couldn’t go wrong with one of their beds that was also made with chew guard technology. The bed is more like a mat with a non-skid bottom and a raised bumper around the edges. At 35 inches by 23 inches it is a perfect fit for my dog’s crate. My dog loves this bed and drags it across the floor so she can sleep in the sun. So far, it has held up well.Edit: Shortly after I posted a favorable review, my puppy chewed the fur off the raised bumper edges of the bed. The chew guard inside the edges kept her from eating the stuffing, but she swallowed enough of the fur (in a VERY short time) that she got a blockage. Of course, she damaged the bed mere days after the 30 day warranty period. Regardless, the company would have offered only a one time replacement in exchange for paying shipping and handling. Given how quickly the pup demolished the fur, I’m not sure I would have wanted a replacement even had we fallen within the 30 day period. I’m disappointed at how quickly she damaged the bed, but she is a pretty ambitious chewer.

I have a 12 month old, 65 pound, pitty mix. He is an avid chewer!! The MANY beds I have previously purchased have lasted about a day. I will say that this bed is more durable than others. On day 2 of owning this bed, I came home to some fluffy pieces in the crate. The bed looked fine, but upon further review, I noticed that my clever little pup turned the bed upside down and chewed the bottom. The top seems to be pretty durable, but the bottom is a different story. I really wish the fabric on the top was all the way around the bed. Over the past 2 weeks, he has chewed multiple holes on the bottom side of the bed. I have submitted a form for a replacement and after $13 in shipping, I am expecting my replacement soon. When I receive my replacement, I am going to figure out a way to secure the bed to the crate in an effort to stop him from flipping the bed over to chew.

I gave this bed three stars because it's soft, it fits my dogs' crate and it seems well made. The problem is that it isn't chew resistant. I have two little chihuahua mixes and the little girl likes to chew. By the first morning she had a hole in the corner and she's been day-by-day working her way down one side. Eventually I know she'll work her way all around the edge just to pull out all that fluffy goodness inside. That's fine because I don't care if the edges are missing as long as the center pad is still intact. I'm not going to ask the manufacturer to live up to the guarantee and send me a new bed because she'll just do the same thing with the new one. That would just waste resources and my time. My advice: if chewing is a problem, don't think this bed will solve it.

very nice bedding, washable - well made... but my dog did chew through it - but only one section at a time!!! Because of the cross stitching she can't take out all of the stuffing at one time... the filling is limited to the seamed sections, which is a great design. Unlike others that once your pet tears through the fabric the entire bedding comes out... Since trying numerous other beddings will reorder this one.. it comes out of the washing machine and dryer in good condition even though it has holes in it!!! I am able to cover it (with it's separate sections chewed out) in a beach towel and hide the previous holes for a few nights, and my dog is okay with it.... best of all - even with the holes it washes nicely!

These are great for my dogs, other beds I bought them kept getting tore up and didn't last, while these withstands many wash and beating

Bed appeared to be sturdy, well made and very attractive. My 5 month old retriever appeared to like it very much and went into crate and enjoyed laying on it. My wife and I went out to dinner for about three hours, leaving the pup in the crate with her new mattress. When we returned home we saw the pup laying in the middle many small pieces of foam. She had chewed through the bottom of bed and ripped the mesh netting. It was contained to only one square of the stitching. The top part of mattress was still all in one piece and not damaged. The next morning she excreted several pieces of the foam. So, it is apparently safe for the dog to eat, mattress itself may not feel safe though. :-)

I am very pleased with this purchase. My little female dog is an extreme chewer and the tougher matts are not tough enough for her. This one, strangely is still intact. I did spray some apple bitter on it prior to put it in her crate but I did this with all the matts I bought in the last 6 months and she destroyed them all, but not this one. I'm happy.

It is so soft to the touch but holds up really well to my pup's intense chewing! We've had it a month and a half and it shows no signs of wear yet! :)UPDATEIt's been over a year now since we got this bed and it's still in good shape. There are definitely a few signs of wear but considering our pup chews it every day, it's in surprisingly decent shape.

Not exactly chew proof, but my dogs chew EVERYTHING. It has last longer than anything else we've tried. They love it!!
