She had her heart set on a 3D pen for months before her birthday and I got these templates to add to what little comes with the pen itself. She has spent hours learning to use her new pen and these templates have been a big part of that learning process. They are very well laid out with each part or piece of a particular object clearly laid out. For example, a pair of eyeglasses for a doll or plushie. There is a picture of what the whole object looks like together and the template for each ear piece and the eyeglass frame to follow as a pattern. Using the 3D pen directly on the template has made it really easy for her to follow. When each piece is finished and cooled down it separates from the template easily enough that it doesn't tear the template so it can be used again. I don't know if a hotter pen would be any different but the one we use is a very popular one for novice users. I recommend this set of templates as a very good starting place to learn what can be done with a 3D pen and have some fun doing it.

I like the options and think most of them are cute. It’s not your typical assortment in 3d books. But there’s a reason for it. Some of the designs call to warm up pieces to fold them into a cylinder or cone like shape (like for the birthday cake).As anyone who has used 3d pens, the pieces will have hardened by the time you fill the shape in. There are no directions so I’m unsure how to bend pieces to my will yet. I don’t think nuking would work. Maybe a food heating pad?The transparent plastic works fine with the 3doodler pen as that plastic doesn’t get that hot. I haven’t tried it with the other 3d pen Flow, which would be better suited since it can take longer loads of filament at a time. Because these templates are all for large to very large projects, which I like, but it does require much more filament. I also like that these are cards versus a book, so that the templates lie flat while you work.

Awesome. Good quality and has been perfect for the daughter to learn to use the 3d pen.

Product is as expected- good colors and cute designs just as advertised in pictures and video. The sheets are good paper quality that will hold up as well.
