This does help, but if you have a serious blockage that is impairing your hearing it probably isn't going to solve the problem. I ended up purchasing Elephant Ear Washer Bottle System by Doctor Easy which ultimately restored my hearing, but I did use this Debrox product prior to the ear washer which probably made that process a little easier.

Same product from store recommended by doctors! I always have on hand in our medicine cabinet.

For years, I've used a similar, but, for me, more effective method/routine, and significantly, at far less cost. I do use the two major components - the peroxide and oil - but use them separately, and sometimes in succession. My water bulb is the same, which one can find at any drugstore, and the same applies to the peroxide, for that matter. Mineral, glycerine, or olive oil, in my experience, all work equally well.I think that having the oil and peroxide mixed together, as in this Debrox, tends to lessen the effect. The loosening “fizzing” aspect is far less present, and thus, for me, not nearly as effective. This is only my own experience, and I'm not advocating any method for ear cleaning or wax removal. When it comes to many medical and health-related treatments, especially home treatments, what works for some, may not work for others.

I was getting alot of ear aches and my Dr said I was taking out the earwax that protects me. He said for daily to use swimmers ears drops and a couple times a yr for a week to use Debrox. So far so good.

Use it regularly and it works.

This product is ages old and I remember using it when I was a kid for the constant ear aches I used to have. Soothing, warm and gets rid of excess ear wax that causes aching ears sometimes.
