I hadn't heard of DREO before, but watching numerous reviews, it's clear that it has a good reputation. So I went ahead and purchased this whilst it was on sale.It's a very attractive design, in a silver/grey finish and a faux beechwood trim. Even the blue blades give it a techie look. There's a small white LED display and touch sensitive controls beneath. Some reviewers say it looks plasticky, but I absolutely disagree. It looks premium to me and the materials are really good quality. It's also very lightweight.If you don't want to use the controls on the fan there is a neat remote control covering all functions. But if that isn't good enough, then you can call out commands via Alexa or Google!Turn the fan on, and you get zero noise from levels 1 to 4 and barely audible above that until you reach level 9 (yes that many levels!) and even on 'Turbo' the noise is definitely tolerable. You get various modes, such as sleep, auto and natural. There are on/off timers and also schedules.The app is superb (which makes a big change for these type of appliances). Set up was really quick and simple. No messing about with router settings.The app is really well thought out and you can customise the fan in many different ways. Such as adjusting the tilt and rotation angles, which is perfect if you want the fan to swing in shorter intervals. You can set presets for the position too, so when I move to a different place in my lounge I can activate a preset to follow me.Now, no review would be useful if negatives weren't included. There is a built in temperature sensor, but oddly lacks the calibration found in other cheaper DREO fans. So the reading is off by several degrees. I thought my unit was faulty, so I contacted DREO and they were absolutely brilliant. They arranged an exchange in days and kept me updated by email daily. I cannot praise them enough! But sadly the exchange unit was the same, so this is a design issue rather than a fault. Hopefully they can address it with a firmware update. The temperature sensor is used in auto mode, so if you want to use this then you just have to tweak the trigger settings in the app.The only other niggle is the remote. You cannot assess which button is which in the dark, even by touch. As the buttons are very shallow and close together. Luminous graphics would help here.Conclusion: This is a superb product in looks, build quality, performance and functionality. I liked it so much I bought 2 other DREO fans for my home, which are equally good. I highly recommend.

The Dreo smart fan is great !!!! it looks great and it performs just how i want it to, Perfect for the bedroom as its so quiet !!! it has 8 wind settings and a turbo setting, up to the 3rd setting you can't hear it, but you can feel it, even the oscillation can't be heard (no creaking sounds) !!! you can set and program the oscillation to 30% from left to right, which covers my bed area which delivers a lovely breeze all night, and all the lights on the fan turn of and you can turn the remote control beep sound off !!! so its so quiet., with no lights. It has a good solid heavy base to keep it sturdy and its not to large and not to small, when this fan is on full automatic oscillation up and down, its looks great and keeps the room very cool as the fan is going in all directions.I wanted a quiet fan for my bedroom and i picked the correct one with this fan, I know its a little bit more expensive, but its worth it as this baby delivers !!!!!I used to have a expensive dyson, which sounded like an aircraft taking off (looked good) but one noisy beast !!!! The Dreo smart fan beats my dyson hands down... settings 1 to 4 for sleeping, settings 4 to 8 for keeping the whole room cool, even setting 4 to 8 are less then half the noise of my Dyson fan on its 4 to 8 settings !!!! if your thinking of buying a Dreo for its quietness then do it as you wont regret it.

The Dreo fans are really good. The fans pack a punch beyond their size and are quiet. The app works very well and they look nice and modern, although they are plastic, though they look metal and wood in the picture. The light on this model is not very bright, it really is only ambient, so I would suggest that you save your money and buy the fan without the light.

The media could not be loaded. With so many fans to choose from and most making wonderful claims of quietness and wind strength, it was difficult to decide which one to buy.I finally choose the Dreo polyfan and I'm glad I did. It really is practically silent on all the normal settings so if your looking for a bedroom fan this is probably for you.The touch controls on the unit are responsive, the remote control covers all the major functions and if you link it to your phone via the app there are options to cover everything your ever likely to need.It was very easy to assemble and as for build quality, the base is very sturdy and stable. The main body is of a hard plastic and seems sturdy enough, but I wonder if it would stand up to too many hard knocks.Value for money? It's hard to say having just plugged it in but if it lasts me a few years I'll be happy. There is an option to extend the warranty to 30 months which was easy to do by scanning the provided QR code. So if your looking for a powerful quiet fan with lot's of useful features I recommend the Dreo polyfan. Infact I like it so much I've ordered the smaller desk model.

I love this fan. It’s quiet, the airflow reaches extremely far and covers the room and it cools the room super fast.WiFi connection and Google Home makes it so much easier to change settings without having to get up. Definitely worth the money. I’m sure I’ll be having a peaceful sleep tonight.
