Item works amazing for such a compact detecter. Strong yet light weight. Easy to carry great noise volume and pinpoints metals of all types with ease. Purchased this but I was a little apprehensive with its si,e but its amazing, I'm so pleased with it that I'm purchasing more for gifts as they are a great price too.

Not just for treasure hunting, also finds things like hidden pipes BEFORE you drill the wall and other handy applications. Well worth it, a bargain.

Excellent little gadget which I got to check for nails in wood I am cutting. More sensitive than another security type one I use too. Lightweight and small enough not to get in the way but easy to use. Can't say how long battery will last as I don't use it for hours at a time but expect it to be a fair amount of time. Fairly robust which also is useful in a workshop environment.

Never used anything like this before so here’s what I think of it firstly excellent value for money if it finds a nail and stops me putting it through my planer then saves me a lot of time and money started using it as soon as it arrived and it spotted every nail in the wood I was using never missed one as a metal detector first class function is easy as pie looks to be waterproof but not planning on getting it wet so easy to use at first kept finding nails that I couldn’t see no matter how I searched turned out I was holding the wood on my leg and it was picking my keys up in my pocket so functionality is perfect I look forward to a long and happy relationship with this little tool it’s brilliant so far it definitely works I’m really surprised

I bought this as I was working with some reclaimed timber that in some cases had nails or other metal pieces in it (and not always visible).Worked well and for £15, it's less than half the price of a new blade in my planer, so well worth getting one and saving the blade and the time it takes to replace it!

This item was described as it was. Still going strong....... it's been through sand, mud, water, grass. Amazing that's for sure.

Well it found the wire I was looking for but had to be on the ground to find. The wire was less than 2cm below the surface.

Works great found some metals while detecting and it made it so much easier to find once you started digging
