VSDISPLAY 9.7 Inch 2K 2048x1536 Small Portable LCD Monitor IPS Display with USB-C Video Input and Dual Speakers,for PC Laptop Computer Gaming

It took all of 30 minutes after receiving this before I was back here hitting the return button!It's advertised as 4:3 aspect ratio with 2048x1536 resolution, which the panel technically is, but it can't be configured beyond 1920x1080 which isn't even the right aspect ratio. I tried via HDMI and via USB-C, and USB-C doesn't even work unless you also plug in a separate power cord despite the fact that it powers the display on.It's also very cheap and lightweight feeling, which if I'm honest I actually liked a lot as it's easy to move around and could easily be stuck to a wall with its completely-flat back, but not having the convenience of one cable from my device to carry power and video together ruins the whole point of it being light and portable if I have to bring along a separate charger as well. Also the included HDMI cable is just a standard cable without the necessary mini-HDMI plug nor an adapter, and the included kickstand is maybe the cheapest flimsy kickstand I've ever seen.This whole thing screams of jank, like they just found some cheap panels and didn't even configure them right nor seem to care about any of it being right. I'm really disappointed as I really wanted this to be as advertised and not the piece of trash it actually turned out to be.

I'm using this with a RasPi, it's an excellent hobby style/size screen. It's not an 8k smart tv, so don't expect to be WOWed by it. However, it works great when you need a small display for a project. It comes well packaged with an HDMI cable (very thin, I wouldn't use it) and a table top stand for the screen (also didn't use this). I mounted this using a vesa adapter to a 1/4-20 center hole and mounted it on a mic stand. It works great!! I'm unsure why it's been so poorly reviewed.

I was impressed that the display comes enclosed in a nice sturdy metal casing. It included the mini HDMI cable and even a stand. I connected to my laptop via USB C but it won't draw power and signal from a single cable, even though my laptop does support it. I had to run a 2nd USB C cable to draw power. Once powered on it connected fine. I had to adjust the resolution down because things were too small to read for me. Once I had it on a better resolution everything works fine. I can see this being used as a display on a project bench for troubleshooting or configuration. Or it can be used as a 2nd display on a gaming machine to show things like map or other HUD elements. It's even small enough to integrate into larger gaming case if you want to display system stats. Pretty cool little display. Touchscreen would have made it better, but it's still good.

Does not support USB-C only for video - only power. Must use Mini HDMI only. Not Macbook compatible

I have to use reading glasses to see the text. It is very compact and lightweight, great for mobile applications. Huard to see screen in bright sunlight.

Product is better than I thought. There are separate plugs for power and display. For display, there is type-c and hdmi though make sure your device can output display through if you plan to use type-c as not all devices do.The picture is clear and crisp, this is one of the better points of the device. The stand is okay but Id honestly just find a bigger phone stand or perhaps a tablet stand for more stability.Overall, it's a nice product. I'd recommend this to others.
