The first / second one breaking is no fluke.
What I liked the most. 1. cheaper stack. What I don't like - Even with professional soldering skills I have yet to purchase one of these stacks that a pad doesn't fall off after first touch. The JST connectors seemed like a great idea, until all 3 of the boards I purchased had an issue with them cracking and falling off the board. I've had my biggest problem with the Camera / osd connector on the front of the FC - very brittle. and don't think you are going to solder directly to the board once the jst connecter falls off, because the pads are poorly done, and will fall off instantly with heat.Moving on to the battery connection.....DO NOT try to re-solder different wires to the board. You will be sadly disappointed when the positive or negative pad fall off the board when you solder, OR after you have soldered and land rough once.I guess what im trying to get across is that I have suffered with 3 of these boards, always purchasing another thinking I got a dud. I have experienced the same issue with all of them. 1 - Horribly done pads 2 - brittle jst connectors. I guess you get what you pay for here.#flickinStix Mainely FPV - One beautiful Maine location at a time.

Epoxy FTW
This is a great little flight stack given some shortcomings. I took the usual precaution of fortifying the delicate solder joints at the JST and USB connections with epoxy and haven't had any issues so far. I imagine that without the epoxy I would have at least lost the USB connector by now as others have reported. Just carefully dab a bit on the edges where the connections meet the board and you can insulate yourself from lost connectors on less than robust controllers. I even do this for the expensive boards with strong solder joints. Thankfully, there are no proprietary pin connections between the FC and ESC so if you fry an ESC it's not a total loss. I'm odering a couple more. I'll update my review if I find any issues moving forward but for now I see this as a great value.

I like this a lot better than the more expensive one ...
I received this and installed right away to check if everything is working. I connected to my PC and ran Betaflight, in my surprise this is updated to the latest firmware. Check ESC, and also updated to the latest firmware. I had no problem installing my Spektrum satellite receiver to FC, When installing make sure you double check wiring. I like this a lot better than the more expensive one I bought before. I will probably use this again for my next drone build.

EDIT....Now they raised the price after decent reviews. Bumped back to 3 stars. Easiest build yet on a microquad 90mm frame 3s or 4s setup. Comes with betaflight 3.2.3 and needs very little tuning. I did have immediate oscillations on maiden flight using the Gemfan 2035 4 blade props. After I soft mounted the stack and added 2035 hulkies, very smooth flying. My issues could be from the DYS 1104 6500KV motors since those are REALLY noisy motors that run pretty hot unless the notch filters are set and d term cranked down. BUY this board and enjoy buttery goodness in the sky.

Check the USB port connector before using
Watch out for poor solder job on the micro USB port. I plugged it in it seemed fine. Unpluged it and connector came off with the cable. It ripped the d+ trace. I ended up soldering that line directly to the cpu it worked got into I was just art of the other traces but I got into beta flight and turned on uart 2 and am using a ftdi to connect now.As far as the rest of the board it seems good and my 3 inch quad handles great and is fun to fly this little thing.

Works great, running 1306 3100kv motors and it keeps up with 3s lipos. The wiring harnesses make it easy to hook up and easy to keep the wires tucked out of harm's way. There was no instructions but the board is clearly identified and should be easy to figure out with the given pictures on here.

works great on Butterflight
10+ flights in, works great on Butterflight. Just wish there was a Vbat pin. Don't manhandle the connectors and it will be fine.
