I vacuum 3 sometimes 4 times a week with pets. I love my Dyson v11. It picks up hair better than any other vac. The head attachment broke after 3 or 4 years of head work… and I couldn’t order one from Dyson. Out of stock. My husband bought another vacuum in the mean time and it just didn’t seem to do the job as well.I took a look and found this on Amazon for a fraction of the 200 price tag. It works excellent and I have my carpets very clean again!

When it arrived, it worked fine. It was a seamless fit with the name brand Dyson. But the spinning brush stopped spinning after 6 weeks. I will now buy a name brand replacement head.

I purchased this to replace the head on a used vacuum. The old head glides across a minimal carpet with no problem. This one you have a really really hard time, pushing across the carpet. I don’t know if it’s just floor head or whether it’s supposed to be used on carpet or not. But if you have a lot of carpet, I wouldn’t buy it.

While this attachment works for my v11, the Motorhead is significantly smaller compared to the original.Can't speak to longevity yet- just got it.

I am very pleased with this motorhead. I used it as soon as I received it as I was unable to vacuum because the brushes on the original were all worn down as was not picking up anything off my carpet. With 3 dogs my carpet was needing a good vacuuming. This one sucked up everything with ease. Another reviewer said something about it not rolling smoothly on the carpet, I did not find that a problem in the least. It does sound a bit different than the Dyson, but no big deal as long as it vacuums and sucks up all the dog hair on my carpet and wood floors. I vacuum almost everyday because I am an Airbnb host and like to have my carpet and floors free of dog hair. I like the fact I saved myself some money, especially since there was a $5.00 off coupon. I am hoping it holds up well, time will tell.
