Awesome product
I purchased this item to replace an older document camera for work . I already had the visualizer app on my computer. I was pleased at how easy it was to install and use in my classroom. All I had to do is plug in to my ThinkPad and put to much needed use. My students appreciated the clarity of the document projection and also at the zoom feature without loosing focus. It's an awesome product.

Top notch
This USB document camera with an integrated mic proved to be an exceptional tool for my Zoom meetings with clients. Its plug-and-play functionality meant setup was a breeze, compatible with both Windows and Mac without needing extra drivers. The camera's adjustable arm allowed for versatile positioning, capturing high-quality images of documents and objects with ease. Image clarity was commendable, enhancing my presentations significantly. The integrated microphone was a standout feature, delivering clear audio that complemented the visual experience perfectly. It seamlessly integrated with Zoom, eliminating the need for an external microphone and streamlining my setup. While the camera handled most lighting conditions well, its performance in low light was adequate but could be improved. Overall, this USB document camera is a compact, efficient, and reliable addition to my remote work toolkit, greatly enhancing my client interactions. Highly recommended for professionals looking for an all-in-one solution.

Where has THIS gadget been all my teacher life!??
I hemmed and hawed over making this purchase for my classroom, but finally took the plunge and I'm so glad I did!! Before Apple TV came along, we were given "ELMOS" - those larger document cameras that you had to hook to your overhead projector and your laptop, blah blah. It was all I ever knew - but I loved the quality and heft of it. When I moved schools, I didn't have one. I really missed it for read alouds and modeling writing in my K-2 special needs classroom. So I bought this guy. It's compact, but sturdy. It comes with a cord that plugs into my macbook. All I have to do is turn on my projector, and then open QuickTime Player, and hit "record" and it displays via my projector. Super easy to hook up and get going! Highly recommend!

Simple to use, surprisingly good resolution.
This is an easy to use digital accessory capable of substituting for an old timey overhead projector. It plugs into a USB A port, or with the included adapter, to USB C, and can be opened by selecting it as a camera in Windows. I was able to display what my hands were crafting by sharing my desktop in Zoom and having the camera open full screen. The resolution is very good for the price of the device, and adjusting the light’s brightness improves the resolution from being too washed out if bright or too hard to see if dim. Controls are all in one easy spot and are very intuitive. The camera folds down pretty flat, but I’m keeping the box to store it in. Out of the box, it takes about as much room in a carry-on bag as a hair straightener or curling iron. I may purchase a second one and donate it to my quilt guild. Business Traveler Husband is eyeing it with envy, so maybe I’m buying three?

Takes a bit of playing before it works as you think it should.
First off, the instructions are wrong on the light control. You have to press the light ring itself to get the 3 settings and off. The auto-focus is nowhere as near as sharp as it should be. Wish it had a contrast control. The top lamp control buttons do not control the lamp. Do not know what they do. The invert and flip controls work as they should. That all being said, for a $54 document camera it is quite good. Be gentle with moving the arms since they are a mix of metal and plastic and breaking the arm would ruin your day.

Works Great for Online Tarot Readings
This works great without having a lot of technical knowledge. I am able to show the cards on my table and talk about them using my headset. The maximum cards that can be shown at one time, is 3-6. So, larger spreads can't be viewed in their entirety. I would like to have a larger field of view for teaching. The autofocus works great and the flipping of the images works great too. It's relatvely compact to store. If you aren't sure something like this is for you, this is a great entry model. It won't break the bank, it works great, the focus is great, and the switching of cameras is okay. I wish I could do it a little faster, because I do switch back and forth a lot. I haven't had to use the attached light, but it works well.

Just stopped working after a few months of use
Used to work, but then one day when I needed it most -- the camera decided to stop working (wouldn't show up on my camera options in a zoom session). Since then it shows up sporadically, but never when I need it. Feels like a driver issue or its USB connector failing... but impossible to tell. What a shame.
