Have been using this brush for years. I have really thick and long hair and this brushes through knots so easily without yanking my hair out. Would never use anything else

An excellent size for detangling hair. My original was for my granddaughter's hair but then I wondered...might it work for curly-haired dogs...so I bought another... it works very very well on my Maltese pooch.!) Excellent value for money; lots of colours available.

I have super kinky THICK 4c hair and this detangler glides through my hair leaving it smooth and detangled. I washed my hair and then used it whilst my hair was still wet, I’d occasionally spritz (with water), the parts of my hair that were getting dry as I used it. I chose not to use it with any products to make it easier to clean, but I’m sure if you chose to- the slip would be fantastic. I took my sweet time because it was my first time, but if I was in a rush then it would take no longer than 30mins to detangle my shoulder length (when stretched) 4c curls. The breakage was minimal and about the same as when I detangle using my fingers. This also did not weaken or manipulate my curl pattern in any way, after every brush they sprung back into their tight curly structure. I was sceptical at first just because my hair is SO thick but it worked amazingly. This is great to use for every wash day or every other, whichever you prefer.Update (26th Sept 2018): I’ve now used this detangler after every wash day since I bought it. A major difference I’ve noticed is that now when my hair is dry, it’s not matted or tangled, making it easier to moisturise and retain length. On the flip side, I find that when I don’t use it, my hair becomes tangled and because of this, breaks easily. I can definitely see and feel a difference in my hair since I stopped finger detangling (it’s softer and easier to handle), and I definitely think that this addition to my hair care routine has helped with me being able to style my hair but most importantly with growing my hair. I would definitely recommend this brush to any naturalista struggling with their 4c crown. Get your blessing Queens.The only reason this gets four stars is because I wish it had a handle or a thick and curly version with a handle.

Great bought for my son .

This brush is used on my son's hair which is very thick. It untangles his hair without the pain and tugging that you'd get from a normal brush. It seemed a good price too - the pink one seemed to be cheapest, hence I got that one!
